Came here for Sunday Brunch, pulled up it was less than 10 cars in the parking lot. So I’m like idk if that’s good or bad, being that they had been opened for about an hour this day. I parked and started walking towards the entrance, only for the valet attendant to walk up from out of nowhere, to tell me that, I had to pay $10 for valet or park somewhere else. I’m like I just parked my own car, so what am I paying valet to do, he said you can call it “self park” and keep your keys. I said which area is valet, he said the whole lot. Because they will get busy, I said ok but if you valet where are you going to take My car to, he kept pointing saying around back, that looked abandoned. Anyway, there only a few cars in the lot, so 2 other ladies ended up getting out of their cars with the same questions and concerns. I don’t mind paying for parking, but don’t wait until I’ve parked my car and then tell me I’m paying for valet but can keep my keys, so what am I paying you to do? If there was 1. Someone at the valet when I arrived, or 2. A sign clearly stating $10 parking or an attendant at the entrance, I probably would not have thought twice about it. It was just that the guy(slender) was very rude and confusing to the point he began to yell at me, so I decided to just go somewhere else. One of the other ladies stated that she was there for a meet and greet and had reservations and asked if she could go inside and speak with the manager (Stephanie I think) but the guy was so rude that he told her no because the manager was not there, the lady went inside anyway, she later came back out and said she would just go somewhere else. I’m not sure if the 3rd lady stayed or not. But we (my husband and I) left and went and ate at another nearby Nigerian restaurant (which was awesome and the service was great, no parking drama). When we got done eating and we drove back by, there was still only about 10-12 cars in the lot. The parking attendant ruined the whole thing for us. Great service starts before you get inside and that guy was rude and if I’m ever in Houston again, I won’t return to this place. Only saw it on IG and thought we’d give it a try before we head out. The fact the guy was still yelling at me as I’m getting into my car is so unattractive and unprofessional for any establishment. I’m sure he probably ran off a few customers with that attitude, being that it was only a few cars there when we...

When life gives you lemons, The Ghost Bar turns them into champagne!
My group of professional Black businesswomen had planned a monthly business mixer at another venue, the Post Oak Ice House, only to arrive and be unceremoniously turned away due to a private event they failed to notify us about in advance. With 20 women scheduled to attend, we were left scrambling for a solution. Feeling frustrated and dismissed, I made a last-minute call to The Ghost Bar—and that’s where everything turned around.
From the moment I spoke with the owner, Tiffany, I knew we were in good hands. Her warm, enthusiastic response to our dilemma was a breath of fresh air. She immediately invited us over and promised to take care of us, and she and her team delivered beyond our wildest expectations.
The hospitality at The Ghost Bar is unmatched. Tiffany and her staff made us feel like VIPs from the second we walked in. The servers were attentive and professional, the ambiance was stunning, and the food? A perfect 10 out of 10. The chic, aesthetically pleasing décor and the vibe of the space made it ideal for our group.
Since we arrived before the DJ’s set, they even let us play our own playlist—talk about personalized service! The highlight for me was stepping into the DJ booth and living out a dream of mine. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne, brought out in true celebratory fashion by their bottle girls.
What truly sets The Ghost Bar apart is its owner, Tiffany—a Black businesswoman supporting other Black businesswomen. In a city as diverse as Houston, it was heartwarming and empowering to experience such genuine care and professionalism from a Black-owned establishment.
The Ghost Bar didn’t just save our night; they turned a sour experience into an unforgettable one. We’ve already decided this will be our go-to spot for future events. If you’re looking for great vibes, delicious food, amazing service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like royalty, don’t sleep on The Ghost Bar. Tiffany and her team will make sure you have an experience to remember.
Thank you, Ghost Bar, for going above and beyond. You’ve gained loyal...
Read moreApril Melody quit and this place has become a ghetto mess i left my original review below because it was 5 stars but the new managers are garbage. The funny looking light skin girl she was drunk and loud just terrible. I see why April quit she was the total opposite April was black excellence with amazing energy and she was too good for this place. I won’t return SERVICE IS STRAIGHT TRASH FROM MANAGEMENT DOWN. Y’all should have done everything in your power to keep April she was the difference y’all so greatly needed. Now you’re just a statistic of black owned businesses with bad service.
Original review I was visiting from NC and saw Ghostbar a few weeks ago through Melody Rox who was promoting it online so we decided to check it out when I got there i was greeted by Actress Melody Rox which was amazing because I love her I am truly a fan of hers so meeting her was a surprise and honor for me and she slayed her outfit let me tell you she never disappoints!!! Myself and my best friends totaling 7 of us sat on the patio the DJ was great and danced with us it was a Vibe… The food took a while but was worth the wait because it was amazing! The server could have been better but Melody you guys know her as April really made up for the servers slack she made our experience very enjoyable. Her energy was mind blowing because she is a broadway Actress who has won awards and yet was down to earth, serving us and she was so much fun. She says she is just a manger but I think she may be an owner and doesn’t want disclose it because the amount of care and effort she put into every area of this place was not what I’m use to seeing just managers do… she picked up trash, was in the kitchen, behind the bar, serving food and really cared if all the workers were okay i watched her consistently check on everybody including the DJ, table cleaners, and customers at every table not just the bottle girls. Ghostbar was a great experience but Melody was the cake topper. We will definitely be back on...
