I love going there to eat hot pot you can have a couple choices either have a buffet choices where you can eat anything you want all you can eat for one price but you cannot take the soup home or the food but there's another choice you could have which is you can split in half if you don't like it spicy they can make it less spicy if you want a real spicy they can have the other part of the soup real spicy that goes for the buffet one too you can have it all spicy or no spicy soup the one price that you could pay but it's not Buffet you can take home the soup and the food whatever you don't finish :-)! You could have it all mixed match you should have only vegetables only or seafood or combination of lamb which is delicious or beef or chicken or pork anyway you like it :-)! I do recommend those side orders BBQ beef stick or pork or chicken and it's only a dollar which is worth it :-)! And they have the world's best sauce which is called House sauce I normally order a raw egg and put the egg on top of the sauce and dip my hot food into it it is so delicious :-)! The sodas and tea is all free refill but if you want extra meat extra extra vegetables of course it cost extra it depends on which one you order your bills in up being pricey total bill it's wonderful come with a group and Friends! There is no dessert that I see but there's so much food you get stuff so you end up don't want dessert anyway! There's one thing I don't like is that when you ordered that particular non Buffet meal there are things that you choose from and I don't like eating them so I don't want to pay something I don't want to eat and it's hard to sometimes but you had to talk to the manager he's a really really nice guy to substitute like Napa vegetable I hate eating those and tribes I don't like that either! I think they need more Waiters because sometime we don't have good service and sometime we do it depends who's the waiter! The best and wonderful time to go there in the season is winter because if you're real cold this hot pot will keep you hot or warm it depends on your body temperature what it enjoys to handle! They do have a bar there it's depends on what time you go there sometimes there is weight and sometimes there isn't! In some sort of way I also think it's romantic and you could take your time and of course it does take some sort of time it depends the temperature of the Boiling Pot of soup how long it takes to warm it up you can have a romantic conversation and share the delicious and healthy food to eat with your families :-)! What's so wonderful about this place which is the first time for me normally the Hot Pot soup is contain hot water only but this place even if he doesn't want it spicy and it's so delicious and healthy they put herbs and healthy spices to make your health very healthy I have not found any restaurants that would put all these spices to make sure that your health be in great condition it is a very healthy place :-)! Have a great...
Read moreI can't say how much I love this place. This chain have the best all you can eat hot pots in this area. Be prepared to spend at least $30 per person to fully enjoy a meal here.
I regularly go to the Bellaire location and this was the first time I have went here. There are some significant differences in the experience.
Food quality remains the same. You can still order the sliced meat items, but be sure to remember or take note what you want later as they will take that menu away from you.
All the items you order on a paper in the Bellaire location are placed in a traditional buffet area. Veg and cold meats are good quality and are chilled. Table service is limited to bussing and serving meats.
The soup is placed in a recess in the table, rather that a flat burner in the Bellaire location. Soup itself remains the same excellent quality.
The hot bar has two types of noodles. Fried egg noodles and chow mein with veg. They were fine but lack the freshness and wok hei you have in the Bellaire location. As least you don't have to pay extra per serving here. They are a separate line item charge over in Bellaire.
Also present in the hot bar are fried chicken pieces, fried bun and fried spring rolls. The spring rolls could have been fried more.
Lamb shanks are available in the hot bar as well. They were great, and plentiful. Plenty of seasoning if you like that.
This place has the additional item of peeled shrimp. On the other hand it does not have fried crullers, or cilantro beef meat balls.
Drinks are included in the meal as well. You have a choice of regular ice teas, lemon tea, plum drink, soda or coffee.
On the other hand they don't have that delicious sweet green tea that the Bellaire location offers.
Place is more smaller and congested than Bellaire. Seating is more open and thus less privacy is offered here.
Washrooms are stylish with the contemporary/rustic decor. Very nice.
In short food is then same excellent quality as the Bellaire location. You really can't go wrong food wise.
They mainly differ in their environment. If you are impatient and willing to walk up and down to get your food: go here. It you want to relax and be at ease that a more private and quiet location offers: go to the Bellaire location.
Nevertheless, both locations provide great food...
Read moreI recently discovered this restaurant while searching for a hotpot buffet, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who informed us about the reservation process. The only minor inconvenience was that reservations could only be made through a scan code provided at the restaurant, not available on their website or any app. Nevertheless, this small hiccup was soon forgotten once we experienced the fantastic dining experience that awaited us.
We opted for the half-n-half soup, selecting the spicy marrow broth and the original marrow broth. Personally, I found the spicy marrow broth to be absolutely delightful! It had the perfect balance of heat and flavor, making every bite a memorable experience.
The highlight of this restaurant is undoubtedly the vast variety of options to put in the hotpot broth. You can choose three meat options at a time. Once those are finished, you can easily order more. Additionally, the buffet-style area offers an unlimited array of fresh veggies, seafood, and tasty meat and fish balls, allowing you to explore new flavors and combinations.
To our delight, the restaurant also served various appetizers and a selection of mouthwatering desserts alongside the hotpot. I highly recommend trying the sesame balls, deep-fried chicken, and rolls. These delectable starters left our taste buds craving for more. I particularly fell in love with their mango mousse cake, as it was perfectly moist and wonderfully soft.
Considering the immense popularity of this place, the restaurant has a wait time ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. However, I must emphasize that the wait was absolutely worth it. The attentive and friendly staff worked tirelessly to ensure each customer was well taken care of, which further enhanced our overall dining experience.
Whether you're a hotpot enthusiast or simply looking to try something new, this restaurant will undoubtedly leave you satisfied and craving for more. We'll definitely be...
