This place is in the middle of a shopping center with two additional restaurants as well as a couple of local retail businesses. There is plenty of parking in this establishment. Upon entry of the restaurant it's very simple yet a classic Cajun style restaurant. The staff immediately seated me while I was waiting on the rest of my party. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was 40 yet fun yet seafood type atmosphere. With decorations of being in a fishing area with the nets, crabs, and other items of the sea surrounding the establishment. I ordered a drink in which the drink prices is not listed so you won't be able to know the price unless you ask. I didn't mind ordering a drink because I was celebrating late Mother's Day with my children. The waiter was so sweet and so patient with me. His name is Charlie and he was an absolute delight to have as a server/wader. When my party arrived we immediately continued to order drinks and then we placed our food orders. They had a special in which you can purchase 2 lb of crawfish and you get an additional pound for free. It's reasonably priced on average $30 to $40 and for anyone who is familiar with boil crawfish or boiled seafood the price is very reasonable. I added garlic butter as my seasoning and a mild spice and the mild spice does give you a significant amount of kick. So if you do go to this establishment my suggestion is to order any type of seasoning but for the spice level definitely a medium. You'll get to have the heat in the front end of your mouth as well as the back end and you can thoroughly enjoy the heat and the flavor when eating your seafood boil. Except for I don't have the 2019 one that's the one that smells like overall, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the waiter was extremely helpful, very attentive to his section, and he was very sincere. So if you do go to this establishment, be prepared to be surprised by the food as well as the service. The atmosphere is more of a mixed crowd with middle age and young...

While visiting Houston we stopped in on our last day in the city.

Let me start by saying we never had the opportunity to try food or drinks. My experience mirrors a few of the reviews that l've read... pretty much there is soo much going on that it's hard to figure out who is coming or going.

We waited at the door to be seated as the sign instructed however others (maybe regulars) walked right in and sat where they liked. Initially it didn't appear to be that busy, 75% of the tables were empty, but we waited 10mins to be seated. Once seated we wait another 15mins before someone started our order then another young lady (it was her first day) came in the middle to complete the order. After an additional 10mins (now 35 mins) I realized the young lady did not ask how I wanted my seafood boil prepared (flavor and spice level). When I caught her attention and asked her about it she said "I didn't put your order in yet". I was surprised and slightly annoyed but went with it because now I know it would be prepared to my liking.

Thinking we finally were off to a good start, I got lost in the TV and music as my eyes wander trying to figure out exactly what the vibe was supposed to be. It was hard to tell, the bar was a little busy but many tables remained empty. Several ladies walking around may/may not be employees. I believe if they had on a belt bag/fanny pack then they were. When I realized I was still taking in the atmosphere an additional 20mins had passed (55mins total) we still didn't receive the water w/ lemon (requested) or the drinks from the bar.

By this time we were over it. On the way out I stopped at the bar waited an additional few minutes to get the original lady's (whom started our order) attention and told her thank you but NO THANK YOU. She apologized as we booked it to the exit.

Just A Note:

I thought the service was originally do to opening hiccups/kinks that they were working out. Based on other reviews it's just hit or...

TLDR; extremely slow service. warm food. random 10% service fee.

Service is extremely slow. Walked through the door and all the employees looked at us and didn’t seem to care. Someone finally sat us down and it took forever for someone to touch the table. Though our server was sweet, her service was nothing special. It was a slow Sunday so I’m not sure what was going on. First thing she said was “Y’all ready to order?” We ordered and she missed my special requests. Our food took around 20 minutes and we ordered our drinks before anything. Our food came out first and it came warm. Seafood was good, would’ve been great had it came hot and fresh. Our soft drinks came out in cups with sealed plastic lids and it was super cute. I just hated the fact that the straws did not have pointed ends so every time someone stabbed their drink, it was a huge annoyance or you broke your straw because it’s blunt. During our dinner, we noticed a large party not greeted for maybe 15 minutes and they ended up walking out. Other tables seemed annoyed too. Had to ask for multiple refills I never received and she never touched our table after dropping off our food and drinks. Notice there were many employees but no one doing anything but our server? They kept walking back and forth from the back of the restaurant and even hitting their pens and vapes in the front of the restaurant. Asked for our checks and saw a random 10% service fee? No longer cared to ask and just wanted to get out of there. I’m not sure if I would recommend this...

I was not expecting the food to be so good and seasoned so well. When walking in, everyone greets you and ask if you are ordering to go or dining in. I ordered my food to go at the to-go counter. Since it was my first time I always ask questions. Out of season the crawfish are frozen - that would be a no for me. I ordered the Snow crabs and head on shrimp (1lb each) with “The Boom” sauce mild (all flavors mixed). I also got the lemon pepper wings and the cajun wings. (Breaded with flour and seasoning rub) They had music playing and the atmosphere was nice. I waited maybe 15-20mins for my food. The waitress that helped me was so nice and personable. The crab legs were meaty and you could taste the seasoning it was cooked in as well as the shrimp. I didn’t really care for the sausage, it was just ok. The wings were crispy and the rub was very good and tasted even better the next day. This place I will visit again as it is so close to my house. Good job Fat Crab!!

Arrived around 5:30 pm on November 26th. The experience started out weird. We were sat at a booth and some time passed without us being greeted. I walked over to the bar to inquire about how to order. The bartender was very nice. He gave me menu’s and said he would be over to our table soon. The food was just okay. We had the shrimp rice and tenders. It was bland. I added white pepper salt and soy sauce to mine. The tenders taste like they were made from an actual chicken breast and fried which was good. The rice wasn’t that hot temperature wise. It seems like it cooled down while waiting for the tenders to cook. The cup they served my water in was dirty. Decent portion size for the price. I like the R&B music they played but the volume was too loud to have a conversation with the person across from you. Interesting decor. It was a mix of nautical and Asian influences. More people started to arrive at 7 pm and it was more of a sports bar vibe
