Would like to preface this by saying the Katy Freeway location is wonderful.
Walked in here at 4 o’clock on a Saturday and the place reeked of nail polish remover. We were the only customers in there and had to ask one of the busboys in there for a waitress and said she would be available in 5 minutes. We thought weird but went ahead and ordered our meal. The edamame came with two bowls, one bowl had a hair in it. We said ok… just don’t use that one… then the ramen comes out and we bite into our egg and it’s FREEZING cold. I proceed to flag down the waitress and let her know if we could please get an egg that was not freezing cold and she proceeds to argue back with me, the customer, letting us know that they need to be served cold. I have never had a ramen egg cold. And so we just have her bring another egg and when she brings it, she proceeds to double down on why the egg is cold AGAIN. She then tells my boyfriend to stop talking while she is speaking and that’s when we proceed to get up and leave. Asked for a manager and turns out our waitress is the manager. Worst dining experience ever. DO...
Read moreJust tried out this sushi spot and I’m seriously impressed. First off, the sushi rolls are massive, bigger than any roll I’ve ever seen. Tuna and Salmon in my sushi was fresh and tender packed with flavor. If you're hungry, this place will take care of you.
I went with the shrimp ramen that comes with a shrimp based broth and a skewer of shrimp. It was so rich, savory, and comforting. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the flavor of the broth really stood out.
The vibe in the restaurant is really cool too. They’ve got some awesome artwork on the walls that gives the place a creative, chill feel. It’s a relaxed spot with a stylish edge, great for a date night.
They also have a stamp system. They gave me a card with 2 stamps for that night.(I spent around $30.00) Every $15 you spend gets you 1 stamps and once you have a total of 10 stamps you can get and one item from the menu for free
Service was friendly, the food came out fast. I’ll definitely...
Read moreCame in on a cold Monday evening. It was pretty busy but luckily I was seated immediately. There was one main person working the front, she was the hostess, server, to-go service, answering the phone and some bussing. She did an AMAZING job but could clearly use help. She didn't come by my table to check in for obvious reasons but whenever I needed something I'd flag her down. Service -4/5
As far as food... I ordered the gyozas which were pretty basic nothing to rave about. I also ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen mild, added corn and extra egg. I Iiked the flavor but wished the broth was hotter. For the amount of time it took I would have thought it be hotter. The extra egg I ordered was very cold as well. Overall food I'd give 4/5
Other: very cute, small place with limited seating. Dimmed lighting. Nice...
