NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY, unsanitary & irresponsible when their mistakes endanger customer's health! NEVER WILL RETURN!!! The staff claimed they were allergy friendly & took precautions. They LIED! And to top it off, their food prep handling is clearly unsafe.
I was very specific about my allergy upon ordering & had an item removed from my meal, since they put no effort to verify ingredients, because I knew it to possibly b unsafe. Two bites n, I noticed a discoloration, that shouldn't be there. It was the exact ingredient I had excluded, since it would trigger my allergy. The kitchen obviously realized their mistake but only SCRAPED OFF the ingredient, rather replace the piece of bread it had soaked into.
The new/second manager on duty, handled the entire situation poorly & was rather rude. She had the kitchen inspect my meal, while preparing another customer's food. Without changing gloves, the employee rummaged through my partially eaten meal, I assume because the manager didn't believe what I'd already told her. With the manager standing next to the employee, the employee DID NOT CHANGE GLOVES & continued making the food item she had previously been handling. The manager finally believed me. I asked to see the dressing's ingredients label, which had been scraped off my sandwich. It was confirmed that it had the ingredient I'm extremely allergic to. She said she'd refund us, took my info on a blank, unofficial sheet of paper, claiming it's for their report. This manager was definitely not n any hurry to help us out of there & I had to take allergy medication to make sure I continued breathing. She kept insisting she was limited & didn't bother calling her manager. Rudely & repeatedly stated "I'm trying to help you", when in fact she wasn't doing anything to help the situation.
I had to push her to call to get instruction from her manager, since she was clueless as to proper procedure. This shift manager's approach was to have a new sandwich made & give us a gift card, which only covered 3/4 of my life threatening meal! There's no way on earth I'd ever want anything from nor will we return to Jason's Deli again after their mistake, mishandling of their catastrophic error, the pathetic cover-up attempt & then the unsanitary meal prep process. None of us will ever order from this company again & I'll never refer anyone there either.

Jason's sounds like a good concept, but the markup on their food is surprising for a deli. The experience isn't extraordinary, either - it's standard counter service, you order, get a number tent, sit down, and your order is brought to you. A TV blaring sports sits to one side of the place, not adding any positive ambience.
I went during the 2 o'clock hour on a Friday, so it wasn't busy. I was surprised to see how many tables had not been cleaned, and that included the patio.
To put this $19 meal in perspective, I could have gone to any of the following places and gotten a better deal: Raisin' Cane's (very close, about $9 for a full meal), Shanghai River (down the road, Chinese restaurant, lunch specials go for about $20 including a drink but are far more filling and the atmosphere is delightful), even Becks Prime at nearly the same price gives you a big, beefy cheeseburger and fries and a drink (still a lot for a burger place, but at least you get more).

Until a manager name Chris, short and bald started working here. The last few months customer service coming from this man has been horrible! Tonight I break my silence. This manager when I come does not smile, no personality looks at me like ok, what do you want. Every time! He acts like he hate his job. I made a complaint about my food. He huff when I said I need it fixed, no apology at all,care or compassion. No managerial skills at all.. Simply didnt care. I tried to fix my salad and he tells me I have to pay for extra.
