my roommates and i were very excited to try the new lil koffeteria in our neighborhood! we’ve been to the main location before and really enjoyed it. mango sticky rice danish: 9/10 - bread was not too sweet (in a good way) - mango sticky rice was really good - my favorite item out of everything we got, i would get this again!! iced yuzu coffee: 8/10 - a tad bit overpowered yuzu, but still good - nice and refreshing - i probably would get this again pistachio baklava: 5/10 - too sweet - resembled more as a sweet butter croissant with pistachio - i probably wouldn’t get it again ube snickerdoodle: 6/10 - it’s a good cookie but lacking ube flavor or snickerdoodle flavor - resembled more like purple sugar cookie salty cambodian: 4/10 - recommended by the barista as a popular pick - can’t taste the coffee much, overpowered by the dairy (condensed milk and butter) overall, we were a little disappointed with most of the above items. however the atmosphere, interior, and vibe was good. staff was also really nice! i am happy to see koffeteria in this part of houston and want to give it another chance! i will definitely come back to try other items 😊

Had been interested in Koffeteria in East downtown and found out about this new Spring Branch location recently. Tried it once, visited in early afternoon and some items were not available, but still had a very good experience. This time, came in the morning to get more variety. Had Ham and Cheese Everything Spice Croissant and Beef Pho Kolache, also got Cambodian Elote Cornbread, Banana Bread Mochi and Pistachio Baklava Croissant to take home. Liked all bakery items and our favorite was Cambodian Corn Bread. As for the drink, I ordered Salty Cambodian Latte which I was told was recommended to be hot, and I think I ordered hot but it was served iced (I mentioned that to the staff but accepted the iced one as I did not want to waste it). It was good but I think the hot one would have been better; not too sweet and not too salty but had a nice distinctive taste. The atmosphere seemed calm and quiet, but it was a bit noisy when we were there, so we were not as happy as the first time. Service was good, food was good, and there are parking spaces so we will come back.

I really don’t understand the hype for this place. All the pastries and hot food were sold out when we arrived and it was 10am. Ok fine I ordered a matcha latte and it was straight milk with a nasty green hue. It was disgusting. And to make it worst, they turned it around to ask for a tip when I spent the past 30 minutes in line. Like if the level of care put into making my drink was abysmal, then I find it difficult to believe anything there is any better. Also I wish they announced when they ran out of food since people just kept coming in and waiting in line for nothing.
