Firstly, let me start off by saying that KHALIL is a SAINT. My friend is super, super picky, and Khalil was a wonderful server, who was very attentive and provided everything we asked for. Our order ultimately ended up being kind-of complicated, and he never once had an attitude or seemed annoyed by our requests. I appreciated him and wanted to give him a shout out.

Now, to the review of the actual restaurant. Firstly: BE AWARE... THEY HAVE A MANDATORY 20% GRATITUITY, REGARDLESS OF THE SIZE OF THE PARTY. Several restaurants that we visited in Houston had this requirement, and I wasn't a fan. I actually would have tipped Khalil more than 20% for his immaculate service, had the 20% not been forced on me. I'm not a fan of that practice. We were also REQUIRED to have a credit card on file BEFORE they placed our order, so I imagine they may have an issue with people dining and dashing there, or something. Idk...

Anyway, we did not have a reservation, but we were still seated within 10 minutes of our arrival, which I appreciated because it was super hot outside. We decided to eat inside... but I think that was a mistake because EVERYWHERE in Houston seemingly has the AC on BLAST and as a result, I was FREEZING. Aside from the temp, though, that restaurant is a whole vibe. The ambiance is real chill and everything was real laid back, which I appreciated.

We ordered the Shrimp and Crawfish dip, which was AMAZING. We were very hungry, so we ate the dip before we could even snap a picture of it. There were ample pieces of shrimp and crawfish, so much so that we had to use one tortillia chip to push the dip on to the other chip. We devoured it before our food came out. I'd definitely advise you get that dip!

As an entree, I ordered the Grilled Salmon and Shrimp, which automatically comes with green beans and Mac and cheese. The Salmon and Shrimp was AMAZING... like... the salmon was fork tender, juicy, and well seasoned even WITHOUTthe aloli sauce. I did pour the sauce on the salmon, and it made the salmon a million times better! I was not fond of the green beans, though. They were well seasoned, but they were steamed and had a lot of crunch to them. They didn't taste bad, but I like grandmas, pot boiled green beans with the turkey tail, or ham hock in them. They just weren't for me, so I sent them back in exchange for a salad, which was very fresh. The Mac and cheese was also well seasoned but it wasn't oven baked. It appeared to have a rue, but it was still made on the stove top it seems, and I'd prefer oven baked. It had a pretty good taste, though... so I ate it.

My friends meal wasn't on point, and they had to remake the whole thing... which is a story I'll let them tell in their own review. Overall, if you're ok with the 20% gratituity, you should check them out and ask for Khalil as...

Absolutely miserable experience from start to finish.

If I could give Lost and Found zero stars, I would. This place is all vibes, no hospitality, and zero coordination.

My party of three had reservations—and still got sat outside on the top level during a rainstorm. The section was wet, and the host acknowledged out loud to another employee that it was wet, then was told to “just keep going.” So we’re seated at a soaked table with only two dry chairs. I told two different staff members over the course of 10 minutes and not a single person came to wipe the last chair. I had to walk downstairs and complain in earshot of my own server before anyone did anything. That’s unacceptable.

I asked multiple people to move us inside, including a female host who literally told me “I’m not seating people, he is.” So when “he” shows up (a male employee training a new hire), I overhear him casually joke that people will be “nagging” because they don’t want to sit in the rain. Seriously? I let him know I’m one of those people and explained my situation—and instead of fixing it, he just wanted to know who sat me. No apology, no help. I told him people were being seated inside who arrived after us, and that I’d take a covered patio spot downstairs. He told me to “hang on,” walked away, and then had the nerve to seat other people right in front of me.

Meanwhile, that same girl who said she wasn’t seating people? Yep, she’s seating people. Right in front of me. At this point it’s like I’m invisible. It’s embarrassing, disrespectful, and shows how dysfunctional their “host system” really is—two stands, no communication, no accountability.

To top it off, when I finally decided to leave, my valeted car wasn’t even in the lot. It took ten minutes in the rain just to get my car after I gave them my ticket. I don’t know if they parked it across town or what, but the disorganization doesn’t stop at the front door.

In summary: • Disrespectful and dismissive staff • No concern for comfort or reservations • Disorganized host system • Poor communication across the board • Slow valet and no urgency • Terrible...

I wanted to love this place, but the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked up. Four employees stood at the podium—two made direct eye contact, then looked away without acknowledging us. No greeting. No welcome. Just awkward silence until someone eventually asked, “Y’all got a reservation?”

We were seated with menus that were dripping wet—literally. The table was soaked, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. Music was loud (as expected from TikTok), but nothing else about the atmosphere felt inviting. Worst of all? Flies. Indoors. They were everywhere, landing on us and our food. The tiny fan they provided did absolutely nothing.

Our server was attentive and did their best, which I appreciate. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken, and that was the one highlight—it was delicious. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stopped. My husband’s fried salmon was so dry it didn’t even taste like salmon. The Cajun pasta was flavorless. We asked for seasoned salt and were charged $0.75 for salt. I’ve never seen that before. It’s almost like they intentionally make the food bland so you’ll ask for more seasoning—and pay for it.

The “homemade” sweet tea came in a cute bottle but tasted like watered-down sugar. No real tea flavor.

Then came the bill. A mandatory 20% “service charge” was already included (which is fine), but the server then told us “everything after the 20% goes to me,” suggesting we should tip again. So basically, I’m expected to leave 40% just to ensure the server gets paid properly? That’s wild.

Finally, parking is valet-only at a shocking $40, even if you’re dining there. That’s insane for a restaurant with flies, bland food, and a chaotic atmosphere.

I came for the “vibe” I saw on TikTok, but if loud music and overpriced, underwhelming food is the vibe, I’ll pass. The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because of the good service from our waiter and that lemon...
