Looking for an amazing croissant in our big city can feel like hunting for treasure. But there’s a cool place called Love Croissants that makes the hunt totally worth it. This bakery might look simple, but it’s a hidden gem where you’ll find the best croissants ever.
What makes these croissants so special? It all starts with the best ingredients. They use really fancy butter from France, from places called Burgundy and Normandy. This butter gets flown in every four days to make sure it’s super fresh.
When we went there, we got to meet Omar, the genius baker who makes all these awesome croissants. Chatting with him about baking stuff like flour and salt was really fun. He knows so much and loves to share his baking secrets.
We tried a bunch of different pastries, but what really stood out was the smoked turkey with goat cheese croissant. Imagine layers of buttery pastry with smoked turkey from a local Texas BBQ joint inside. It’s both hearty and light at the same time. Omar is a wizard with savory flavors, and this croissant proves it.
Everything on the menu looks amazing. They’ve got sweet croissants that will make your sweet tooth happy, and savory ones that are just out of this world. The problem is wanting to try them all but not being able to eat that much!
In the end, Love Croissants isn’t just a bakery. It’s like a magic place for anyone who loves food. The vibe, the top-notch ingredients, and Omar’s baking magic make eating here a special experience. My only wish? That I could eat every single thing on the menu. Maybe that’s a good excuse to keep...

When it comes to weekend breakfasts Houston is inundated with mediocre brunches charging $25 for chilaquiles. Bakeries that are good quality are far and few in between filling that gap for the simple breakfast to grab and relax with, but thankfully that’s changing. We went to Love Croissants because why not? It’s the weekend before Valentine’s Day and seems more than appropriate. Aside from the horrible people yelling at us to go away outside from the pop-up Mardi Gras bakery stand we absolutely LOVED Love Croissants! The interior was a little small and it doesn’t really feel like a dine in sort of vibe, but the display was stunning showing their offering of about 8-ish? Different types of croissants. We ordered and the staff of course were a super friendly and made me wish we could be besties on the spot, but we had food to get so carried on. We got the beef sausage and cheese croissant, the almond croissant, and the key lime croissant. Each one was absolutely delicious! So flakey, so tasty, so happy 🥹. Highly recommend this place. The price is a little steep at like $10 a croissant, but I’m willing to pay it. Maybe a once a month spot instead of a once a week, but definitely a spot to come back to. 9/10...
Read moreI LOVE Love Croissants and have had their croissants at other local coffee shops in Houston before, such as Un Caffe and the Fifth Vessel, but they would always sell out on certain days. Now that they have their own brick and mortar location, I am super elated and happy for them (and for my belly).
All their croissants are a hit, and they are the best croissants I ever had in America ever! Their croissants are very large and can definitely be shared, but I am guilty of eating it all in one seating (in five minutes max). The chocolate croissant is super crispy on top with just the right amount of chocolate filling. The almond is not too sweet and the filling is not overwhelming, as well. My absolute favorite is the blueberry meringue croissant. It is DELICIOUS. If you had to choose one croissant to eat and only one, this has to be the top choice. The blueberry and meringue on top along with a thin layer of key lime custard in the center blends perfectly together with crispiness and flakiness of the croissant crust.
Not only are their croissants absolutely delicious, but the workers are super friendly and gave me a free cinnamon stick for buying three croissants.
Overall, Love Croissants has quickly grown to be my favorite place to get croissants, and it...
