I recently celebrated my birthday at Camellia Alise with a spa party for me and seven friends, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We had massages, facials, full access to the sauna and oxygen lounge, and champagne to top it all off.

The spa has a cozy, intimate feel that made the whole experience feel personal and special. It’s not a large space, but that’s what makes it such a hidden gem. The staff were warm, professional, and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt relaxed and taken care of.

The location is beautiful, the facilities were spotless, and I also love that it’s Black woman-owned—a wonderful bonus to an already excellent experience.

I booked as a new client and did not get the experience I was hoping for. I’m only leaving a review in hopes of improvement. Overall the facility was very nicely decorated and the staff were very nice and friendly. When I booked I assumed I would be receiving a massage by the woman that was pictured on the website, (now I see that website has been updated with the two male massage therapist). The lockers not being able to lock with my personal items had me feeling very uneasy. Also the complimentary mimosas/wine was not offered, but was immediately brought to me when I asked. I was rushed by the massage therapist to drink my wine so he could get started. I didn’t get to utilize the relaxation lounge because he kept coming in asking was I ready.
