Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Houston

First and last time ordering at this location. I placed my order Wednesday night for pick up Friday at noon.

It is my fault I completely forgot to pick up. I did not realize until Saturday at 3pm that I totally forgot to pick up my order (a dozen bundtinis) I did expect a least a phone call to check in if I would come pick up my order. They called me an hour before they closed. But did not leave a voice mail and their caller ID did not give me any inclination that it would be them.

I called to let them know (Saturday at 3) that I forgot to pick up my order and they could not even tell me if they even had my order completed. I gave my name, description of my order, etc and still all they said was you can “come in and give us the last 4 numbers of your card and we will see if we have it”…… what????

I show up, show my receipt and apologize for forgetting and the girl goes to check the freezer as she is not sure they have my order as well. She comes back and hands me a taped box and says have a great day. It was so off putting I just stood there for a second like “is this happening”.

I was missing the card, couldn’t open the box to double check my order since it was taped all around. The workers seemed to care less. They were so rude I walked out and just went to my car to make sure my order was at least correct.

I accept having forgot my order but it was the customer service after I owned the fact that I forgot that really made the experience awful. Thankfully it wasn’t an absolute needed order for me but if it was this whole experience would...

I have been to this location many times, and the staff is always welcoming and helpful, the shop is always spotless, and the cakes are always delicious.

If you've never been to a Nothing Bundt Cake they specialize in cakes, specifically Bundt cakes that come in many flavors and that are topped with a tasty cream cheese icing. You can order these cakes in a variety of sizes (bundtinis, bundtlets, and a regularly fully size budnt cake), and they're absolutely perfect for any sort of party, celebration, or everyday indulgence.

On this particular visit I hit traffic and arrived a couple minutes after they had closed. An employee noticed me at the door and I mouthed "pick up" and they unlocked the door, got my name, packaged my order, sent me on my way and apologized for not being able to let me inside. This person did me a huge solid, and they were extremely helpful.

Walked in to get a cake but they said it will take 30 min to have ready I said it was fine I could wait, went to my car and waited because I had my son and was not going to wait in the store so I asked if they could call me since they were not busy when I was in there and they agreed. 40 minutes passed by I get off and ask if my cake is ready the girl that took my order didn’t even remember what size I got she went to the back and had someone else come out . So this other lady asks for my card number I give it to her she states they never got the ticket. At this point it’s already 3:45 or so I had ordered at 2:55.
