OMG! Burger — Restaurant in Houston

I was in Houston for a quick visit to the Turkish Consulate to handle some paperwork, and it happened to be lunchtime. While walking by, I caught the incredible smell coming from OMG Burger — I couldn’t resist!

After finishing up at the consulate, I went back down to try it out, and I’m so glad I did. Ana (or Anna) greeted me warmly and explained their menu, which has an impressive variety of burgers and options. I decided to go with one of their signature burgers, and it was absolutely amazing — juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

The entire staff was friendly and smiling, which made the experience even better. Jordan served my burger and was super kind and attentive. It’s rare to find a place with both great food and great energy, but OMG Burger nailed it. Definitely a must-try spot in...

Double smash burger - 8/10 - $9.95 - Pretty good for a smash burger🍔, not as greasy as most are, and pickles were juicyy

Steak melt burger - 8/10 - $12.99 - A bit too salty for me but steak🥩 was tasty and cooked well🥪

Sassy grilled chicken jalapeno burger - 9/10 - $12.99 - Really spicy🌶️ and packed with flavor

Nash me up fries - 8/10 - $13.79 - The chicken could be crispier but i loved the sauce and crispy fries🍟, i would add coleslaw next time

For the past few months Ive been seeing this place being set up and painted etc (I stay next door when im in town). Tonight I flew in from New Zealand and walked past and saw it was finally open. We dined in and OMG they live up to their name, the food was amazing! The beef tasted like NZ beef: so fresh, tasty and moist, I got the OMG MELT and I give it a 10/10! It came in the form of a sandwich and did not disappoint! The chips were so fresh and lightly seasoned to perfection, my friend said his meal was a 10/10 also!
