Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

As you can tell from my other reviews, I am fair in my ratings. If I receive great experience, I say so. If I receive a bad experience, I also say so.

I had used a 3rd party for delivery. With third party, you can schedule a time for delivery.

This manager is unfamiliar with how to use their third party system. Here's likely what happened: someone read the order items and they began right away. No one reviewed the order to see it was a scheduled delivery. No one noted the prompt that alerts you to it. They made it and marked it as "ready for pickup."

They completed the order nearly an hour early. The customer received a notification that order was on its way. Customer contacted the store. Manager, instead of actually checking, decided to dig in their heels and try to say the 3rd party didn't tell her. Instead of trying to rectify, they advised the customer to get the 3rd party to fix their mistake for them.

"What's the problem with getting it early?" The delivery wasn't to a house. It's to a venue without means of keeping the pizza warm for its guests until the event time. That's why it was supposed to be a...

First let me say that we have ordered many times online for delivery from this store so our address is in their database and should be well-known. Tonight we ordered a pizza for delivery around 7:25pm. When it had not arrived almost an hour later, even thought tracking said it had gone out for delivery, we called the store and were told that the pizza had been delivered. In the background we could hear the driver somewhat rudely insisting it had been delivered to us and that a man had opened the door. Since I would have been the one to open the door it was clearly delivered to the wrong address - sadly that person took a pizza he had not ordered. By then it was too late to have another pizza ordered and delivered so just asked that the charged be reversed. No offer for a coupon or other credit to make up for the mistake on the store's part. Today we ordered pizza. The pizza is great! The customer service is terrible. It was bad from the ordering to the delivery. The girl kept trying to get us off the phone & we were still trying to order (3 pizzas & hot wings), timing was good on the order, the driver arrived & was so rude. I did not go to the door fast enough for him, I guess. He was looking through the window's of my door with an annoyed look on his face. I answered, said hello etc. He said nothing. No hello etc. He handed me the recipt to signed. Still said nothing. I gave him a $10.00 tip he didn't deserve. He turned and walked off. So Rude!
