Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Houston

Ordered a cake and was told it would be ready by Monday at 6pm. On said day, I called and they had forgotten to make it. Said the "cake lady" would come by to make it later in the week. I don't know if you know how birthdays work, but they tend to be on a certain day and not move. The guy on the phone set the phone down and continued to check out other people for 20 minutes, while I drove to the store. The manager refused to take any responsibility, blaming everyone else and refusing to make it right. I argue to get a refund and after arguing for another 30 minutes, on my kids' birthday, he finally said he would refund it. I went and got a backup cake elsewhere. Now they are refusing to refund my purchase at all and will not speak to me. Terrible, rude, unapologetic, and now, apparently, committing fraud (I paid for a product I did not receive, that is a crime). Do not order anything here ever. Baskin Robbins is an okay place to get ice cream. Service was good and they do have a lot of options and flavors. Frankly, I like more local ice cream places and unfortunately this particular Baskin Robbins is suffering a great deal of neglect.

The floors and even the walls were very filthy and even with the Arctic air conditioning, there were flies a plenty. This was a weekday and me and my children were the only people inside. I used to work in a restaurant/coffee shop and the only way this place gets this dirty is because it isn't cleaned consistently and thoroughly.

There really is no excuse for this and I've been to this place maybe three times in the past year and I've faced the same conditions.

Did not get the ice cream cake I ordered….cake tasted old and very dry. I went into location placed and paid for order, went to pick up and owner/ manager didn't even look for my order he acted like they didnt have an order for me and asked if I was at the correct location…. Does he not want business??? I told him that wasn’t the cake I ordered… he did offer a quart of ice cream which I declined said it would be nice to get what I ordered and paid for!!
