Just left this place after picking up food to go. Simple meals...Chicken Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef with fried rice. Got home to open my food and realized I was not given fried rice as requested and charged for. Simple enough mistake and mistakes can and will happen. If that was the only problem with my order I would not be writing this review. Although my rice was not fried rice but white rice, and my white rice was completely dried out and clumped together, and literally 2/3 of my toppings consisted of mushrooms rather than beef, and considering my beef was dry and hard like beef jerky, and my wife's meal consisted of overcooked tofu, very little or no sauce, and dried undercooked noodles.....as bad as that is my motivation for writing this review is more related to my customer service experience with an individual named Michael who claimed to be the shift supervisor. I called in and asked to speak to the guy handling takeout orders (turned out to be Michael who eventually identified himself as the shift supervisor). I explained to Michael that I just left with my food 10 minutes prior and asked if he remembered me and my order. He said he did. I asked him if he checked my order prior to bagging it up and handing it to me. He assured me that he did. I asked him again and he once again claimed he was sure he did. He verified that my order was fried rice and told me he checked it personally. Since he claimed that he handled my order personally and tried convincing me he double checked it i asked him to help me understand how I am looking at plain white rice then. He just got silent. It became pretty obvious at that point that Michael knew he was being dishonest and was at a loss of words. I told him that it was fine because he knew he was lying and I knew he was lying but that was beside the point because I just wanted my food order to be right. Michael then told me he was just going to give me credit for my order. At that point I just consented because it was clear Michael was not doing his job right, was blatantly dishonest, then offended for me forcing the disclosure of his dishonesty, and Michael also made no reasonable offer to use his managerial discretion to correct the meal situation. I personally took his response as him making it clear that not only can me and my wife expect to receive decent food made to our specifications but that he would lie to me directly with no regard for integrity, and also his actions were clear that if I didnt like it I could take my money elsewhere. Michael is definitely not an asset to the business by managing with such a lack for customer service. Moving on though. Michael processed the refund and told me that my refund would be back on my card within 3-5 business days. I asked him to double-check that and please verify that what he just stated was correct. He assured me it was and he was looking at it on his computer now. That was when I finally asked to speak to a supervisor because I had enough of Michael's insulting dishonesty. Michael informed me that he is the manager. I asked him if there was any other supervisor available that I could speak to and he told me no. At that point i explained to Michael that not only was i frustrated about all that happened up to this point but the fact that he "refused my money BACK TO MY CARD" and tried convincing me he was verifying it and staring at the refund report on his computer as we speak...I asked him how that could be the truth when I in fact paid IN CASH! Just one more dishonest moment for Michael who apparently is the top manager representing this company. I asked him to explain to me who just got a refund based off of my poor experience because it sure was not me and it was not my card because I did not use a card. No explanation. Without an explanation or receiving a refund Michael asked if there was anything else he could do. Yeah refund my money. He told me he didn't have time for this because he had other customers wanting to order food too....
Read morewent 3/4 my first time at any pei wei. ordered carry out, the selection was pretty good in different things to order. i told the guy working it was my first time, he was nice and polite with me. as i waited (not long) i used the restroom.... horrible. it could use a good deep scrubbing. just horrible.
i got home all my order was correct. i had a spicy tuna roll, 8pcs but only ate one. the tuna was a dark color, not to my liking. flavor was there though. the wonton soup was delicious. the chicken teriyaki was ok. not like any teriyaki i have experience before. noodles i ordered with it were good. overall food quality was ok but not great.
i doubt i will be back to this pei wei again. maybe i will try one in a different location and see if it is any better.
really need to clean the place up. it looks nice on the outside, but the inside is filthy. start with those nasty bathrooms. corrosion on the hinges, lime residue everywhere. dried pee stains on the toilet walls. i glanced around the kitchen in the open area as i walked back to wait for my order, it looked normal kitchen area but it could use a good cleaning as well, specially since you have it out in the open where your customers can see in.

I placed my delivery order through their website, not through door dash, when they food got here, we were missing several items. I called the store and the receptionist said that they distinctly remember putting those items in my bag, that the delivery guy must have stole the items. Said there was nothing she could do and that I had to contact door dash. Well, the order emails are all from pei wei, not from door dash and they said that if I have a problem with the order, to contact the store directly. So I called the store back and she said sorry but all she could do was make the items and I could go pick them up. Well they closed in 10 min so I had to race over there before they closed and when I got there, she said they have been having issues with door dash delivery guys stealing items!!! Totally unacceptable!! Why are they still using them!!!!? I will be calling the manager tomorrow and they had better refund my money because I paid $5 for delivery and another $5 for a tip 😡 totally ruined...
