Roland's Swiss Pastry & Bakery — Restaurant in Houston

I heard Michelin skipped the bakeries in Houston because the competition is unfair when you have a place like Roland’s in town. Fantastic service and baked goods all around.

We bought a large box of cookies for a party and they were very well crafted. I could tell a lot of heart and soul went into every single cookie in that box. I didn’t tell others where I bought them at first, and they questioned how I managed to get such freshness from what seemed to be imported straight from a pastry shop in France.

I seriously questioned any bad review on this place and saw they were all over 5 years old, which makes more sense… I’ve only been having a great experience since becoming a customer this year. I encourage those traumatized individuals to come back and see the greatness that is the modern day...

I wouldn’t recommend this bakery to anyone. If your booked then please advise your staff to tell your customers, they would appreciate the honesty. I tried to get in contact with anyone that could help me book a consultation, the receptionist first stated the the chef is on a vacation when I called back a week later she asked me to send an email of the cake never heard back. Called the bakery again and she stated that they received the email and the chef called me back (which is not true I’ve been waiting for a response back and I never got one) I was asked to send another email because they deleted my last one. I finally got a reply back to my second email a month later “ if I was interested in ordering...

I wish there was an option to give no stars. This place has the absolute WORST customer service. They have no respect for the customer. I literally called to ask a simple question, yet the lady on the phone had an attitude while picking up the phone. In a completely sarcastic tone, she said "Can I help you?". As she answered the question, she laughed as if I were stupid to ask a question.

I don't care if the cakes are delicious, I will NEVER order from this place. First impressions say a lot and this place had the most TERRIBLE impression just by the first word they spoke. I had to write my review on here because there's probably a reason why this bakery isn't...
