I recently checked out this place, hoping for a decent salad with the $11 I shelled out. But to my pleasant surprise, I ended up getting way more than I bargained for – a seriously impressive salad. Ordering is a simple counter affair, allowing you to customize your salad to your heart's content. I opted for the large size, and trust me, it was a massive portion. I might have gone a bit overboard, piling on all sorts of ingredients except for beets – who's even a fan of beets, right? One of the highlights was the fact that most of the add-ons, including egg and bacon bits, came at no extra cost. It's a rare treat to have so many options without the additional fees. Now, let's talk blue cheese. They've got these delightful crumbles that add a tangy punch to the salad. Although I was slightly let down when I realized they were missing blue cheese dressing – it's like the cherry on top that was absent from the sundae. All in all, this salad was worth every penny of that $11. It was a hefty portion that allowed me to load up on various toppings, excluding beets, of course. Despite the lack of blue cheese dressing, those blue cheese crumbles managed to salvage the flavor game. If you're looking for a satisfying salad experience, this place definitely delivers.

This was the worse experience I've ever had a Salata on Westheimer. I usually go during the day and have a pleasant experience. This time, I went at 5:30pm. Total opposite. The customer service was terrible. I didn't feel like my business was appreciated at all. When the manager isn't there, they act like they don't care. Santana is the only one that provides good service. I'm a longtime customer, who has watch the prices steadily increase. These salads are not cheap. Nobody tells you about the price increase. You find out, when it's time to pay for your salad. I went twice this week and the amount was $13.63 with tax. Today is $14.71.. An extra $1 for nothing. This salad is not worth it, with the terrible service. I give them to much money to be treated this way. Just terrible. Thumbs down.👎

To the owner, you will be getting 1 star even though the food, service and atmosphere were 5 stars. Why? Because I found out later and after the fact that your establishment overcharged me by $0.95! Factoring in sales tax of $.08 equals $1.03. Is this a one time mistake or are you doing this to all your customers? Making an extra buck off everyone can add up, but is this practice worth losing customers over it? I guess I should have paid more attention to the charges and receipt while I was there, but I shouldn't have to if I am entrusting you to provide great food at an honest price. I am providing photos to doccument the proof.

Hi I have visited this location within the last four to five months at least twice if not three times a week. I have spent at this location if not 20 to 60 dollars a week. I have really enjoyed the service that I have received and the salads are always fresh and amazing I have enjoyed this until today. On today I really had a strong craving for a Salata salad and endured the after Christmas traffic to get to this location. Upon arrival as always I was greeted with a warm hello and a smile. And I proceeded with explaining what I wanted in my large salad request. Once I arrived to the point where I asked for bacon bits they didn't have any on the line up so the lady went to the back to get the bacon bits which was fine so I waited as I waited another lady approached me and charged me for the salad a total of $11.00 which was again fine I paid for this with my debt card and I was at this point actually impressed that I would be rung up for my order and had the ability to get out speedy. Well when the lady came back with the bacon bits she placed them on the line up and then put some in my salad at this point I'm happy until she stopped fixing my order and went to the drive through window and started waiting on another customer. Now I'm not so impressed any longer and actually confused and getting pissed off. She completed he drive through window order while my salad sat there dying once she completed the drive through window order she still didn't return to my salad instead she signaled for the lady that rung me up to complete my order so this lady now is mixing my salad and in the mixing of my salad I say to her "I requested avocado" she frowned at me and said that is extra I said to her 'You have already rung me up I'm the same lady that you jus rung up and that is my order" she looks at me and say "Did you already pay" I said to her with much frustration at this time "Yes I just gave you my debit card and you just charged me $11.00 I have not magically disappeared and changed into anyone else I'm the same lady you just charged" she then say to me "Well avocado is extra and that will be $1.00" I could not believe she actually still wanted to charge me for the avocado after the horrible customer service I had received from this visit. I placed a one dollar bill on the counter and grabbed my salad (now without the desire to even want to eat it ) and left out of this establishment. I'm sadden at how this place which I loved so much has now started a down hill spiral with customer service and care and concern for the customer that is partaking in this establishment. This left me wondering if I wanted to go back to this particular establishment or if I even wanted to even continue giving my 20 to 60 dollars a week to Salata regardless of how good the salad is the customer service is what makes you come back and I'm not sure if I want to come back I'm sure you do not wish to lose...

My boyfriend and I ordered two regular salads, and this was my first negative experience at salata. I eat at Salata all the time, but this specific location was the worst dining experience ive genuinely ever had. When it came to the ranch portion of the bowl building, I requested for the classic ceasar ranch to be on the side. Instead of pouring it on the spot, the worker pulled out a container of ranches with no labels. It initially didn’t cross my mind to taste the ranch before I poured it on top of my salad, so I did and was unpleasantly surprised. I don’t know what ranch it was, but it wasn’t classic caesar, and it was at this point already mixed in. I tried to resolve the issue by telling an employee that I received the wrong ranch, and that I just wanted to get classic cesear. They proceeded to try to charge me for extra ranch, I politely told the employee that they didn’t give me the right ranch in first place. They ended up having to ask the manager if it was okay and handed me ONE correct ranch. I tried to fix the salad, but at this point a replacement would’ve been better because it tasted awful. My boyfriend also complained of a sour taste in the ranch dressing, but his was mixed in so im not even sure what happened there. I’ve never had a worst salad in my 3 years of eating at Salata ordering the exact same thig everytime at other locations. Overall, the experience and food was so bad I didn’t even want to ask for a refund, I just wanted to leave. Please be cautious if you are...

I love Salata! Great ingredients and wide selection of toppings and dressing. I used to go to the one in The Galleria since it was closer. However, the reason I only gave 2 stars for this location is because of an incompetent employee who was very unwelcoming. Nine out of 10 times I always say "Regular salad with..." when I begin my order, and whoever is helping me would know to pick the larger bowl, right? Well, this time when I went around 7pm earlier this evening, this employee just stood there and did not seem to know what I meant. She kept asking if I wanted the "small or large" and from what I see in the selection, it's either Salad, Small Salad, or Salad Wrap. There is no large. Me, thinking she would be able to think on her feet and maybe understand if I just repeated myself, said "Nope, not large. Just the Regular one." Yeah, she didn't get it. She finally pointed at the regular salad bowl, and I said, "Yes, that's it." Throughout the entire transaction, both my friend (he didn't order) and I could sense that this employee (who maybe has had a very long and/or bad day) was not friendly at all. To put it nicely, she was very smug. We felt like A) she didn't want to be there and B) she didn't want us there either. I really just wanted to walk out, but I was really craving Salata tonight. So, I just quickly finished my order and left. Next time, I will mostly likely go to a different location or ask for another employee...
