This is NOT the place to spend your money at. We arrived on Thursday, 11 September and remained until 15 September. We (12 Veterans) visited this establishment NIGHTLY, spending hundreds of dollars nightly. However, on our last night, after clearing out of our conference room next door (Moxy) and collecting our items, we decided to close out the evening like he had done in the nights previously - and visit this establishment AGAIN. After being here for hours, and spending countless dolkars on buckets of beer and cocktails, the female manager decided that it was time for us to go after noticing that a “bagged bottle” of liquor was under our table.
Before you jump to conclusions, this bottle was from next door and was neither opened nor consumed in this facility.
The female manager took the bottle and told us that it was time for us to leave - perceived to be based on noticing that the ethnic clientele was slowly changing from African american to Hispanic. Mind you, we had been here since 3pm - this occurred at 830pm.
Point being - Having a bag with unconsumed alcohol should not be an issue, especially when the patrons are soliciting your establishment and spending money. There were no signs posted stating that outside liquor was prohibited AND you wait/bar staff were aware that it was there.
Your actions of taking the bottle and advising OUT OF TOWNERS to speak to the manager tomorrow is unacceptable. A more feasible course of action would have been simply to ask us to leave...
Read moreWow, what a quaint gorgeous outdoor garden that really did feel "secret" - tucked out the back side of Bravery Chef Hall. The custom glass greenhouse that houses the bar is so unique and beautifully decorated with flowers. Feels very European. Several bar seats are available and there are a decent amount of tables/chairs out on the patio as well.
I came here with my fiancé around 8pm on Saturday evening - not too busy which was nice!
Menu: currently there is a "soft opening menu." Not sure when the "official" menu comes out? -Coffee, per the Bravery Chef Hall website is served till 2pm: cafe de olla, espresso, cappuccino, latte. -Cocktails: Three of the specialty cocktail options are gin based, which speaks to me personally! Two others are coffee-based. They also serve classic cocktails and highballs - it would be nice for a future official menu to have these specifically listed. I ordered the Violeta cocktail - gin, German liquor, lime, lavender bitters (perfectly balanced!). My fiancé ordered the Rose Felici - gin, Switzerland floral liqueur, lemon, roses (also delicious)!
Adding a few more specialty cocktails that differ from the gin/coffee based ones would be nice to vary it up a bit!
Now that it's getting to be patio weather in Htown, can't wait to come back, order food from one of the 5 restaurant concepts inside Bravery Chef Hall, and take it outside to enjoy with a coffee or cocktail in this...

We checked out 8 locations tonight. Two were not good, but the others were okay. This place by far had the rudest staff. Why roll your eyes at people like that?
The women serving drinks asked to see my girlfriend's I.D. even though we showed the bouncer already. My girlfriend was our DD. She was not drinking. We told her that she was almost 30, and the women rudely said she was definitely not legal with a smug smirk and asked for her i.d even though she was NOT DRINKING. We would have left right then and there, had we not just got our order. We finally convinced her she was the DD and had our drinks. They charged us a 25 percent tip fee on top of the 5 ounces of drinks that we got, and all we did was walk up and order from the bar. A ridiculous hidden fee and poor business practice...
After that, she watched us like a hawk along with other workers who were there with very unkind expressions. This was the most unwelcome establishment we hit all night, so at least they are good at something! Thanks for making us feel so uncomfortable...
