Normally I'm not one to complain but it seems like the staff here aren't properly trained. Several times now I have ordered the same drink (a caramel apple spice, it's a fantastic fall drink when made correctly) and it was made wrong. Once or twice I can understand, I used to work for Starbucks and I know it's not a very popular drink outside of the fall season (but it's not a seasonal drink! Seriously, if you're a fan of apple cider or you're looking for a coffee-less drink for your kids, it's perfect!), and I've worked at coffee shops for most of my working life. Mistakes happen. But when I have to send my boyfriend over to your store four times in one morning because you can't seem to make the drink right, something is up. Nobody at that store knew what I was trying to order. Six baristas behind the counter, and not one of them knew how to make the drink or thought to check the recipe. I know for a fact every Starbucks has flashcards behind the counter for trainee's to learn the drinks and for reference for the baristas in case they forget a recipe or don't know an unpopular drink. Not to mention- PHONES! We all have one, it takes two seconds to look up the recipe. As I said, I've done that job. I know what it's like on busy mornings, I understand the anxiety inducing drive-thru rushes, and I know what it's like to panic because someone ordered that drink your manager said no one was going to get, so you didn't need to learn it. Read moreVery disappointed with this place. We went in about 20 minutes to closing, day before Valentine's and they take about 15 minutes to take our order. There's about 4 people closing, and the cashier is the only nice person to handle a confusing situation well (didn't know how to charge the Valentine's day special on the promotional board they had outside???) Manager comes out with such a negative attitude and the two guys making the drinks are just being sarcastic jerks while our cashier is struggling with the register. They notice but don't do anything even when she calls them about 5 times. They argue, in front of us, for about 5 minutes so me and my date just leave them be and started looking at the cookies and what not. FINALLY the guy helps her after making sarcastic or funny (couldn't tell the difference) remarks. We get our drinks, drink it for like 2 minutes and then the guy who was the rudest of the bunch tells us to leave because they're closed (mind you they are sweeping and making jokes. This was after the girl had told us we could stay since we took so long. Believe the guy's name was "Duck face?" The girl that was polite had a badge with "Joey" on it. I mean, it's cool to joke around but being a jerk to paying customer's is another thing. WORST...
Read moreThis was the worse service I have ever had. The person with the blue hair that made our coffee (the barista) was so rude. Did not call my name. I saw them slam the cups down on the counter and went up there after a few minutes. I asked if they were for me? I was treated with so much disrespect that my daughter had to come up too tell them not to talk to me that way. Finally a nice lady came and gave me a free coffee coupon. Once we left one coffee was half full and they were both made wrong and taste horrible. No sugar or white chocolate no anything just disgusting coffee in both cups. Worst service from the barista ever. I will never come back to that location and they need to re thinks how to make coffee taste the same as it does at other locations.
