Let me start by saying that Normally don’t do this, because I expect bad service at fast food restaraunts. But this experience by far exceeded that expectation. As I arrived to the drive through microphone, I was greeted with, “please hold.” My wife and I were having a casual conversation on the way to the golf course down the street, so we were in good spirit. The clock ticked, as I remember pulling in at approximately 1:05, then was quickly 1:09. After a few, “Hellos,” or “is anyone there?” I heard a voice come back on and asked what I would like for my order. By this time, mine, and my wife’s good spirits were fading. I proceeded to order one small beef quesadilla, and well as one small chicken quesadilla. I was then told to pull forward to the second window. After a 15 minute wait, I was given the wrong food. I would not have noticed had it not been for my patient wife, who checked before pulling out of the parking lot. I proceeded to take the food, with the receipt into the store and explained how I’d been given the wrong food. The manager came around the corner and explained that the tortillas for the original order were no good so they had to throw them away. Why they give me someone else’s order, I still have no idea. So then, the cook took some tortillas out of a bag, put then on the flat iron and started cooking my quesadillas. By then, I was irate. I explained my frustration, and that I’ve been the service/food industry for 15 years and how ridiculous this was. My advice for anyone going to eat here is to be patient. Read moreThe food here is great! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Taco Cabana, but THIS Taco Cabana is by far the worst one I have ever had the misfortune to step inside (or drive through). I never really rate anything on here, this is my first. That's how much they anger me. Here is why... Me and my girlfriend came here twice. The First time, every single thing they put in the burrito was almost completely incorrect, talking to the staff in the drive through was horrid. They can only hold so much info in their memory apparently, because we went over the order over 5 times, with a change in each one (By them). When we got the burritos, after I TOLD THEM 5 TIMES to put the guac inside the burrito, they still had it on the side (My gfs hand is messed up, she can't dip it), AND only had one order. We ordered two. The burritos are TERRIBLY rolled, every time. (I worked at a local burrito shop, so i'm a burrito perfectionist. Sorry.) And basically, their employees... they're a few steps below drowning in their own spit. No brains. None of them. One last note, once I even saw them all in there on their phones, leaning up against everything and chatting it up, while I waited ever so patiently for them to come to me. Read moreThey really suck at what they do. Please don't go here. Nobody inside is capable of anything. I was attended by a black women.. Can't remember the name. Well she attended me with sour cream on her hands and multiple people in the back handling the food were picking their noses. I will NEVER come back here. Stop hiring people who do not give a crap about their job.. None of the employees look presentable. Most if not all had they're uniform looking filthy. Over all it killed my night and drove me to write this review. That being said this experience is the reason I'll never be back here again. Minimum wage jobs are for teenagers. Everyone behind the counter does not care if taco cabana prospers. This store needs a huge reality check. I wanted a refund but decided not to bother with the trouble. I didn't want to get sour cream on my hands from the cashier. 0 stars, saver your money.. Don't go here Don't go here not even if it's the last place open or even your only option. Just starve..
