Dunkin' — Restaurant in Howland Township

I’ve decided to give this location 4-stars. I would have given 5, because I regularly have a great experience here. They have several great employees. But, the other day, I was really excited to try the new Kit Kat drink. I pulled in and saw $2 lattes. So, I just simply asked, “Can I try a Kit Kat frozen latte?” Now, I didn’t know the Kit Kat drink was considered a “coolata.” It’s a new item, I was a little confused, but I work in the service industry and the response I received left me speechless! The female employee responded very RUDELY, “First of all, we can’t make the Kit Kat drink because we don’t have the stuff for it. AND, second of all, we can’t make any drinks with espresso because we are cleaning the machine.” So, I said, “Okay, you guys had the $2 cold brews last week, could have a $2 medium cold brew instead?” She said, “Uh. No. That will be $3.69.” Her tone was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I really wish I caught her name. I work nearby and vowed that I would never go there again. Also, I thought it was odd that they advertise $2 lattes between 2pm-6pm and decide to clean their machine during that window of time. Well, a week went by, and I still wanted to try the Kit Kat Coolata. I rushed there before work, but there was a very long drive-thru line. So, I ran inside ordered my drink, and an employee named Ethyn was very kind when he took my order, he personally made my drink (I asked for added espresso), and he didn’t charge me. I didn’t even mention my previous experience! I forgive this Dunkin. We all have our bad days....

I’ve been an avid customer of Dunkin for about 10 years going quite often & moreso as of late due to my work schedule visiting Dunkin became more convenient than making my own coffee at home. I visited this one about 5 visits in a row, and each time I visited I’d order the same thing and yet somehow, every time the drink tasted different. As another reviewer said they regularly replace cold foam with whipped cream and call it a day and still up charge you for the foam. They’re extremely inconsistent. I can’t say anything for the staff themselves, but even when I’ve ordered an avocado tomato toast (on multiple occasions) sans the coffee after having given up on getting a decent coffee there, they just threw the tomato’s on and again, called it a day. All just centered on the toast, it’s clear that the effort for consistency isn’t great here. I usually don’t leave reviews but this has ended a 10 year long customers good views on Dunkin. Nothing I order is complicated. Always the same yet always different. I hope I can visit again in a few months and see a difference because I really enjoyed my little coffee treat & tipping the workers as well whom I know still are hard working. Ordered a med iced coffee with cold foam and oat milk. Informed the woman who took my order, that I had a free beverage reward any size any drink no exclusions only cooler beverages. I did not order a cooler beverage. She said “we will take care of that”- did not say anything else. I get to the window she scans my code and then says that will be 1.80, I said why? She said for the cold foam and oat milk it’s extra, did not explain that it would be extra in the beginning after I gave my order. And both supposed “managers” said there’s nothing we can do. They both proceeded to speak down to me and began yelling at me that the prices are on the board. Did not listen to my concerns at all. There were not exclusions on the app. Called customer service and they let me know that they charged me when they should not have. Customer service made it right.

Will not be returning. They put some whipped cream on top and called it cold foam which disintegrated the moment I left. And also one of the supposed managers was talking about me to his co workers. Very unprofessional and rude. Will not...
