If 0 stars was a choice I’d select it. Terrible service and absolutely repulsive correction of that terrible service. I was working at the concert hall down the road and went to pick up food for my team members; in the order was 80 chicken nuggets along with fries though I ordered ahead of arriving. As I was in a rush to get back to work I quickly left only to discover that HALF of the chicken nuggets were missing. I immediately called and informed them I had returned to work and could not come back that evening but the worth of the missing items was upwards of $20 and I was expecting some type of correction for this mistake. The woman informed me she could not fix it after she left if I were to return the next day but promptly assured me she could send me meal replacement coupons worth that of the lost $20+ worth of nuggets. She took my address and told me it could take up to three weeks because I continued to call and inform them I had not received them. Well the three weeks came and went and I never got anything in the mail so I called again and informed them the original woman would not release her name but had assured me she had sent them; well this woman informed me they had not been sent if I hadn’t yet received them, sent them ‘again’, and told me to wait 3 weeks once more. After the three weeks of nothing I decided to complain to the corporate hotline and they informed me to call back once more and thoroughly explain everything I’d been through attempting to get some type of replacement for 40 chicken nuggets. Well once I called again the woman wasn’t really interested in the whole story and asked for my name so she could look it up. She read me back my own address and informed me they had my name on file somehow. She said she didn’t see anywhere that coupons were sent out but that she’d leave a note and do it again. Well now I’ve still never received the coupons and I’m just so absolutely sick of messing with them lying about fixing it that I stopped attempting to call and get my replacement coupons and now I just tell everyone about how they stole $20 from me and didn’t give me 40 chicken nuggets. I haven’t been there since even when it inconveniences me to go somewhere else. My order total was over $50 and I used to go there often for large orders using my McDonald’s app but now we...
Read moreI’ve already made a review for this restaurant location. But. I had to make a second google account to warn everybody about this place. Just don’t. If you’ve had a bad experience here, and you say “I’ll never eat here again!”, and then you think “that was a long time ago. Let’s just give it another shot. They’re close to home” DO NOT DO IT. They do not redeem themselves. Today we went back. After I swore I wouldn’t. I requested a double cheeseburger and a medium fry. I received no fry, and I realized my burger was made incorrectly and also had no onions which is standard. So I (as nicely as I could) took it back inside and showed the girl at the counter. All children by the way. She looked so offended that I would even show her the cheeseburger. She did NOT look like she was about to fix anything, so I threw it in the trash, and re ordered. I didn’t complain. I didn’t raise heck, I just ordered a PLAIN McChicken and moved on. I received the PLAIN McChicken. It came in a bag. Which was bizarre. I peeled the bag open to find they had squeezed sauce in the bag, and then stuffed the sandwich ingredients separately into the bag. I ordered A MESS apparently. This seems like an act of sarcasm. They’re children who clock in, half a** their employment, and clock out. They aren’t in it for quality or success, and it’s obvious. I couldn’t believe when I opened the sauce, bread, and slab of chicken bag. It doesn’t feel good going to this McDonald’s.
Why do we all go to McDonald’s? The idea of McDonalds was put into us as small children. Cheap, fast, fun, delicious food that never disappoints. If you go to this location on Old Troy, I can almost guarantee they will disappoint the inner child within you. I know they did me. Do....
Read moreTook an hour, not even exaggerating, to get through the drive thru line. Pulled up at 9:40am, got my food at 10:32am. If I had known it would have been that long I wouldn't have even went. Problem is with a two line system, you get trapped in the drive thru and you cant even leave it you wanted to. Furthermore, people will cut you off in the drive thru line. You would think with 2 lines, every other person would go. So after ordering, the guy in front of me went, I let the person in the next lane go, so then it would be my turn. However, as I'm pulling up behind the car I just let go in front of me, the car behind them in their line speeds up, almost hits my car, and goes outside of the drive thru line to get around me.
When I finally got my food, both hashbrowns I bought were so overcooked, that they literally fell apart in my hand. Couldn't even make it up. I handed what was left of it to the cashier in the drive thru (always check your food before you pull away) and he had a look of disbelief in his eyes when he yelled back at the fry cooks wondering what they were doing back there. He got me two new hashbrowns and a couple free fry coupons, so I bumped what would have been a 1 star to a 2. The wait to get food at a "fast food" restaurant was ridiculous though. If you have the time to wait in this drive thru line, I'd recommend going to somewhere you could sit down. Even a McDonalds in a different city perhaps, cause you'll still get your...
