Driving frantically from Michigan to home in Alabama to try to beat a winter storm warning (in the south of all places), we were starving and needed a quick driving break. I did some Googling and I was pleased to see a Cane's on our way. We like Cane's but don't have one in our home city, so I like to try to stop when I can to get my craving met.

We pulled off only to find the drive through and parking lot absolutely slammed. We almost gave up and went somewhere else but after some whining on my part we decided we'd go inside for a potty break and order to-go.

I'm so glad we did! Overall, this was a very high-quality experience, especially for what I consider "fast food."

First off, the bathrooms were immaculate, even though they were (and presumably had been) very busy. Kudos!

Second, the young woman working the register was very polite, helpful, and working efficiently.

Third, our food came out remarkably quickly considering how busy they were. Maybe that's a benefit of really only serving one thing (chicken tenders)? Not sure, but definitely appreciated it!

Sidebar: I tried a small splash of sweet tea, expecting I'd pour it out and move to Coke, but it was actually delicious! I don't usually expect good sweet tea this far north but this hit the spot! Southerner approved, lol, and a huge relief to have something to sip on for the rest of the drive. :)

Our food, once we picked our way back out to the car, was hot and fresh and tasty! Exactly the flavors I expect from Cane's. Generous side of fries, too. Really my only complaint is the tenders were a tiny bit heavy on the breading and, more importantly, they don't have ranch! I don't remember that being the case at other Cane's I've visited but it's been at least 2-3 years since the last time so I may be misremembering. Still, although I like Cane's sauce, I would've LOVED some homemade buttermilk ranch.

Oh well. Ultimately a very positive experience, and I'd hold this Cane's up as one of the ideals out of all the ones I've...

The most horrible dining experience I have ever had. I have severe food allergies that makes life generally challenging. Ever since I was a little kid, I remember not be able to eat any cake at birthday parties, and not being able to eat most foods at any social gatherings. Usually at canes I get the naked bird (plane chicken with out breading because of my gluten and egg allergy); they usually fry the chicken in the fryer that they use for the fries in order to avoid cross contamination so that the chicken doesn’t go in the same fryer as the breaded chicken. However, this location refused to fry the chicken in the fry fryer. When we asked the manager for assistance he told us that he had to assist the “general population,” and walked away laughing at his own remarks. Not only did that break my heart, but he he was also mocking my anaphylactic allergies. I understand that it is hard for others to understand the magnitude of allergies; I would never wish an anaphylactic allergic reaction on anyone, but I hope the manger understands the magnitude of food allergies by not being able to breathe himself during an allergic reaction so that he never mocks someone else’s medical...

I normally love Canes. I will not return to this location. Service was far from friendly. Staff at the drive through was busy goofing off and horseplaying and could barely be bothered to pack up your order and get it to you. Mine was missing a few items and I had to ask for the missing items. I was treated ad though I was lying and had to show the person in the window each item I had received to prove I was missing the items I claimed I was missing. The young adults working at this location have horrible work ethics and don't deserve the jobs they have. Luckily for me there are other Canes locations, just a little farther away from home. But I will not return here.

Overall, food quality was mediocre. Tenders were not hot. Did not seem fresh. They goofed up 2 of our drinks and to save themselves time just handed us 2 drinks at random which were not the right content but a larger size. Service was pathetic. Servers were argumentative and disrespectful.

I wish I had names to go with the feedback. For that...

We stopped by during our road trip, and it made for the perfect break. My husband is an LSU alum, so we always hunt for Raising Cane’s wherever we go—and this Huber Heights location was a great find! The restaurant was clean, had plenty of parking, and offers a convenient drive-thru for those on the go. The LSU-themed decor, along with the inviting outdoor seating area lit by charming lights, created an atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience. As always, the food was exceptional—crispy, tender chicken fingers, Texas toast, crinkle-cut fries, and that signature and addictive Cane’s sauce that keeps us coming back! The service was fast and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. The service was fast and friendly, making our stop even more enjoyable. If you’re passing through, definitely check this location out—great food, great ambiance, and a perfect pit stop! 🍗✨

First time trying "Canes" because I thought how could chicken fingers be any different than another place----well let me tell you it's like comparing pizza places. Definitely different and this was a stand out experience that impressed me. Prices were OK at $11 for a 4pc chicken meal with fries, slaw, toast and coke. I was very surprised at the overall quality and taste and will definitely return if I continue to get the same quality, and taste. It's hard to compete with ChicFla but "Canes" definitely comes very very close. I will recommend and rate my experience at a 5 out of 5.
