Okay, so I've given this establishment enough chances. My first time going there the power went out. Not a big deal, we had already ordered. We got our food before the power went out fyi. What annoyed me was that everyone that ordered at around the same time was told they didn't have to pay for their meal due to the inconvenience of the power going out. Now by all means I'm not looking for a free meal. What rubbed me the wrong way was that we were the only ones that had to pay. I did pay for our meals if one is wondering. I brushed it off. I spoke to what turned out to be the manager. I asked her if she could add something to out bill. I wanted to order dessert for my kids. She looked at me didn't say a word, and walked away. Okay then.....I waited. She eventaully came out, and enjoy handed at that. When I asked her where the cake was she muttered something, and walked away again without a word. I brushed it off. I almost forgot to mention my daughter got sick about 10-15 minutes of eating. It turns out she got food poisoning. Even with all that I decided I would give them another shot when they weren't having any power issues at another point in time.

I went their last week, again with my family. Our server was phenomenal! We ordered, everything seemed yo be going great. We received our food. The one time I didn't cut my kids cheeseburgers in half is the time that (not exaggerating) they are bloody red in the middle. I showed the server. My husband was eating so we didn't leave after this. I let the poor man eat. Lol. The server offered to have them remake their food. Which I said was alright, after he apologized profusely. By this time my kids didn't even want to eat them. We played the bill.....some of us still ate out food. I didn't even want to ask for a manager, since the previous time was anything but delightful. With the first time giving one of my kids good poisoning, and the second time giving my children raw meat....needless to say we will never return here again, and I hope you don't consider dining...

Haven't been here in a while and I've missed it. They have fantastic food. The jalapeno ranch and pico style salsa is to die for. The ranch is just the right amount of spicy and tastes good on just about anything. Chips are crisp and yummy without being overly salty like some places can be.

The service was great, the waitress worked with me and was patient with my questions about the kid's menu since I have a big time picky eater. The kid's meal comes with a push pop Popsicle and she made sure it was okay with me before she brought it out which is a huge thing to a Momma.

My husband got a steak fajita burrito that was smothered in queso and was delicious according to him. I also got some kind of steak burrito and I got the jalapeno ranch as a sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful without being dried out or having that "restaurant" taste to it.

The kid's burrito that we got my son was originally bean and cheese but I was able to sub the beans and replace it with ground beef for my picky child. He actually had several bites of it which was awesome! It did have veggies in it which I expected but it wasn't overly so and I was able to pick out the biggest pieces and my son not notice the rest.

Overall we had a great experience. If you've never been it's a fun place to go. The atmosphere is laid back, very casual. It's a smidge loud but not to the point where you can't hear each other. There's lots of conversation pieces on the walls and lots of stuff for kids to look at and stay mildly entertained. And this is gonna sound stupid to anyone who isn't a parent to a small child, but they gave him 4 crayons in a pack with his coloring page! That's like unheard of!...

I would like to know what has happened to server's during this pandemic? I ordered quesadillas along with some refried beans and rice and of course when you sit down at the table they give you their chips and salsa which I love their cilantro sauce. To start off they were having to make more chips so I have to wait for those, the waitress proceeded to go ahead and get my drink order and she brought it to me, then finally my chips showed up along with the sauces the cilantro sauce and the salsa I really don't care for salsa but anyway sitting there for a little while my quesadillas showed up and I looked at the server and I said what's missing and she said Oh! beans and rice so she proceeded to go get those when she brought that back, now how am I supposed to eat those? No silverware so she had to bring silverware so now here comes the good part I asked for a tea to go then a to go box for my leftovers while I'm sitting there waiting of course my check is already there and I decided to have some more chips and the cilantro sauce I got to looking and I got the butter knife or knife that was there cuz I saw something and when I took the knife and put it and lift it up that thing in My Favorite cilantro sauce it happened to be a HAIR showed my server and she took it to the manager yes he apologized and offered to give me some more of the cilantro sauce but I declined because it's hard to tell what that comes out of and if it had been made with that same strand of black hair basically I lost whatever appetite I had and I didn't even use the to go container I just paid my bill and that was it I will not be coming back too bad and I loved Chuy's. Oh she never came back around to...

This is our absolute favorite restaurant. My kids and I have been coming here since we moved to Kingwood and it’s consistently awesome - BUT today was the first day I felt the need to write a review! First and foremost - Kam is the absolute BEST server ever. I’ve never seen him have an “off day” and even when we aren’t in his section, he makes a point to come say hi to my daughter - who absolutely adores him and makes her day every time. This guy was made for great things. But - a month ago my son was on his 10 day leave (USMC) and we were running a little behind to get him to the airport to head back to Camp Pendleton but he hadn’t had time during leave to get his Chuy’s fix and he was sad! We were already headed to IAH from Kingwood but I called to ask if I could place an order and we planned to eat it from the box... they put the manager on the phone and she said they could absolutely get an order started for us and she’d make sure to have it ready. When we walked in, she greeted us and sat us at the table, and less than 2 minutes later our food came out. Not over did she go above and beyond - but when we got the check, she had comped his entire meal and thanked him for his service. We already LOVED Chuy’s before this - and comping his meal was completely unnecessary and unexpected, but it made this Mom heart bust with pride to see my son hear those words for the first time. ❤️ We finished and paid with enough time to walk him in the airport and sit with him while he waited to board.... Thank you, Humble Chuys. Not only for being the restaurant ever - but for employing the best people!!! Forever customers!

Honestly, I love Chuy's and this location has always provided great service and great food. The salsa was kind of a new style tonight with huge chunks of fresh tomato and was wonderful! And the creamy ranch style sauce as good as usual. I ordered the Baja Grilled Shrimp Tacos and was really pleased with the flavor of the shrimp and the slaw. The tortillas were soft and fresh. Also had to get the Tres Leches cake as the last time I was here, the cake was so incredibly good! It was different tonight than last time, but equally good. Huge slice of cake which is enough to split among 2 or 3 people, maybe even 4. The plate was covered in a smooth fresh whipped cream, and cake drizzled in dulce de leche with sliced strawberries. The strawberries weren't very red or pretty and looked a bit unripe, but actually had really nice flavor. And of course the cake itself was very moist and saturated with the cold milk. I also love the decor at all the Chuy's, but today was the first time we were seated in the room with all the hub caps on the ceiling. It was fun looking at all the styles. Also fun seeing so many framed photos of dogs on the walls. Just a really fun place with great food and an excellent value for what you pay.

I visited here on a business trip recently with a group of 12. They seated us within 10 minutes which was nice because almost of us had an early flight that day from home. We were waited on very quickly and brought chips and two kinds of dips, a salsa that tasted freshly made and a ranch dip. Both were tasty and the chips were fresh. The server brought us more chips without asking. I had the Elvis Presley Memorial Plate which I had to try because of the name. It was really good and I couldn’t finish it all. Prices were very reasonable on everything. Overall, a great experience. If I could make one suggestion though, it would be about the tile floor. It was a tile floor but had a surface on it that seemed a little slippery. I think it would be worse if it were very humid. I know it probably seems silly to mention the floor of a restaurant in a review of a restaurant but I like to rate the overall experience in my reviews.
