We ordered 2 drinks the other day! They were amazing! One was the espresso. They asked if I wanted to add a shot, so Iām like of course! I wouldnāt order an espresso with out it, right. Well, it was an extra $1.50, I didnāt think much of it, and paid. Drinks were delish! (5 stars)
I took my kids back a few days later, we ordered the same drinks but this time I asked. Does āthe espressoā already come with espresso? She said no, you have to add a shot for $1.50⦠so why is this drink called the espresso if it doesnāt come with espresso. I donāt mind paying for the COST of the drink but why is the shot not added in the cost and charged on for a multiple charge. Doesnāt that defeat the point of ordering ESPRESSO, if I didnāt add it on, would it still be called an espresso? Totally confusedā¦but didnāt want to argue or look dumber than I felt thinking about this⦠anyways, we ordered the classic and the boba was definitely not fresh! Not chewy. Very melty in your mouth texture and we just about threw the drink away. ;( Customer service was great so I will be back in the future, but in hopes of fresher boba!
Secondly, all these 5 star reviews are because they advertise an extra scoop of boba for a 5 star review. I just hope everyone who chooses to do that, actually has a 5 star service/drink and doesnāt put a price tag on themselves...

I will say, the taro lover tea I ordered was phenomenal. 5 stars there hands down. My first visit was mid-afternoon on a weekday and also this location is in the middle of a mall. That day I waited about 20 minutes before the barista walked up to the booth. She was not friendly by any means. This visit today was one hour after they opened and there was no sign of any employee anywhere for over 35 minutes. I even left after waiting 15 minutes and went to a nearby store and came back out to wait another 20 minutes before she showed up. I had my niece with me and we ordered a milk tea and fruity tea. Nothing was prepared. She had not set up for the day and literally said nothing but āwhat can I get youā while she struggled to get things in order. I love boba and waited because there arenāt many options here which is the only reason I waited, but I will definitely not be going back. I definitely donāt expect to feel like Iām bothering someone when Iām choosing to give them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't do Boba, but my daughter does and she loves this place. Today, I had to pick up an online delivery so she begged me to stop and get her boba. She's at home sick, so I agreed to get it for her. Whole waiting, no one made eye contact or said anything to me for several minutes. I noticed another Societe walk up, holding a order. She walked in and got started without waking her hands anything. Touched everything and never attempted to wash up first. I said something to the associate that was finally helping me, who was nice enough at first, but when I mentioned it, he strait up caught an attitude with me!! He then went and washed his hand, made my daughter's yes, told the other associate to wash her hands. She complained the whole time, but washed her hands and then he came to me and told me that he told her. I thanked him and told him that it's just not safe. He then began to tell me that no matter what are doing we're exposing ourselves. As if to say, no matter what, I'm at risk... Like food service shouldn't be held to a higher standard. I don't know about this...
