I frequent the Huntersville location and have never had any issues until now. I ordered via the app and included special instructions. Shortly after I received a voicemail from the manager to confirm the order. I called back within minutes to confirm the order and the manager had already made the pizza incorrectly and aggressively informed me that he would correct it by re-cooking the same pizza and charging me extra money. Because I didn't want a twice-cooked pizza for more money, I took the second option he offered to cancel that pizza and before I could continue speaking (to ask if I could at least purchase the 1 pizza that was made correctly), the manager rudely hung up the phone without saying a word. I called back and the manager confirmed he hung up on me and that he was about to do it again because I was wasting his time. Totally rude and unapologetically disrespectful. My total order was eventually canceled and money refunded to my card.
Updated Response to Manager: The issue was not about the money but more so about getting my wife the pizza with the ingredients she wanted. I ordered via the app and it did not allow me to add or make modifications like you mentioned and only had the special instructions available (probably because it was a special?). Also, the app did not contain all the available specialty pizzas when compared to the website (sidenote). I only asked for the Italian because I noticed from the website that it had the same ingredients as the ones I requested without the upcharge. Please consider using your own app, there are opportunities for improvement. In addition, I never yelled at you accept to tell you that purposefully hanging up on me was very disrespectful. And sorry for not know the difference between you "made the pizza" vs. "cooked the pizza". Go figure. But ending on a good note...on my prior Friday night visit, one of your employees had my pizza waiting for me at the register when I walked up with my mask on and a hat (seemingly disguised). I asked him how did he know who I was and what I ordered (since there were multiple pick-up orders). He said you always get the same thing on Fridays, Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizza. And like another review mentioned, the prices are really high for just average food. I had two bad experiences today. First of all, I get text messages from them to let me know of specials. I signed up for text messages when we moved here and were trying out all of the different pizza places. I got a text today saying that their 10" cheese pizzas (I didn't think they had a 10", it is listed as 9") were $5, so we went because our kids eat cheese pizza. We got there and ordered two of the 9" cheese pizzas for the kids. When I got to the checkout, it says kids eat free on Sundays!!! What?! Of course, having two KIDS, had I known that it was Kids Eat Free day, I would've ordered the kids size pizza for them! It was such a marketing scheme and an absolute trap/trick! Of course kids are the ones eating cheese pizzas. I don't know many adults that do!!! Secondly, they have this board right above your head, right at the counter where you order. It highlights all of their pizzas. It shows a small pic and lists ingredients. I look at the board and make my selection. I chose "the Italian". The ingredients are listed as tomato basil sauce, mozerella, spicy sausage, and basil. I order it and the guy starts throwing on red onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers!!!! I'm thinking that's not what I ordered. So I say something to him and he tells me that there is a menu on the wall. It is a small pull-off paper menu. It lists the pizzas on the board and their full ingredients. The board never mentioned that it was an abbreviated list of ingredients. But apparently I'm supposed to know that!!?! I will not be back. This location is very poorly managed with even worse customer service. I will never be going back to this location as a result. I ordered and paid online, showed up about 5 minutes early, which may have been my mistake. I checked in at the pickup counter, the girl told me that my pizza was coming out soon and asked me to take a seat so she can bring it out when ready. After sitting there for 10 minutes another employee walked by and asked if he could help me. I gave him my name and explained that I was waiting for an online, to-go order. I waited another 5 minutes and then decided to go to the count to check on the progress. I found that my pizza had been boxed and sitting on top of the oven. I asked how long it had been sitting up there and was told about 15 minutes. The most disappointing aspect of this experience was that there was no offer to make a fresh pizza or comp the meal.
