Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Huntington

Most unenjoyable Starbucks experience thus far. Spotting the store and parking sucked and after finding a metered space of course it only took quarters(which we didn’t have). Upon entering it did not appear to be too busy but by the time the (not happy)barista got to take our order because the label maker wasn’t working right and no marker that worked and only 2 employees behind the counter it backed up quickly. After quite a bit of frustration being able to place a simple order we waited for our drinks from the other barista who was not friendly towards us but seemed to love singing and talking to a man that was just hanging out at the counter(and no he wasn’t waiting on a order). We received 1 drink and was waiting on the 2nd which was a simple black Americano and had watched a couple other drinks finished my husband politely asked about his since the ordering process was such a mess at the time we thought maybe his cup didn’t get marked and she was just rude about it. Like how dumb we must be for asking her. It was frustrating to say the least. However though our negative experience at this store I still have to say that Pullman Square where this Starbucks is located looks like a nice little area with a good vibe. Day of Hotdog fest I bought a water for my pregnant wife. Cashier was super nice. Walked outside for a minute to meet up with our 10 year old little cousin and look at the show cars. They come back in while i go to get a hotdog. Different cashier was there. Refused to refill my wife's water because she walked outside. They then asked to buy another water cause she and our little cousin was very thirsty as it was almost 100 degrees outside. The new cashier said they cant sell water by itself but its free with purchase. They didnt want anything other than a water. She refused to just sell them a water and then started to kick them out when they just decided to leave when i got back and just buy a water from one of the many hotdog stands. Its just crazy to me that she refused a pregant woman and a little girl a water and was going to kick them out of the AC, especially after we had JUST bought something a few minutes prior, but just stepped outside for a bit. Having kind of an off morning and decided to do something nice for myself and get a drink that I tried before as a sample from this location. It's dumb but I hate how the ice starts to come through their lids in chunks as you drink a cold beverage so I always order light ice because that crashes the experience for me. When I went to pick up my app order it wasn't light ice and the color was off likely because of the balance of milk being off. Point of all this is, how much a difference in my day it was when the lady remade my drink. She didn't complain even though I'm sure it was annoying because how big of a deal is it normally to have less ice in a drink? But to me it did make a difference and it made a difference that she was kind about it as well. So thank you so much. I should have asked your name to give you credit and I hope this finds you.
