45 minutes after ordering and turns out they forgot to make my food. So I got a refund which was on my card. So that would take several days to get back. I called and complained to corporate and somebody called me back a few days later and told me that I could return to this McDonald's and they would remake the food that I didn't get that day at no charge. Which I thought was very nice and it was very good gesture of her to make so today I go to the McDonald's. I'm in the Drive-Thru because I have my dog with me and I don't live in Huntsville or go through there often. I was told in the Drive-Thru line to just go ahead and pull to the window so when I got to the window I explain to the guy and was told that I was not allowed to do that through the drive-thru and that I would have to come inside, I was not happy and I drove away. I called back to that McDonald's and spoke to somebody who is very nice he told me that I could come back through and then I could come through the drive-thru no problem and that he would help me. So I went back I did end up getting my food but my chicken nuggets tasted like they had been sitting on the counter all day and my fish sandwich was cold which really made me sad. I knew not to expect a lot from free food. But the gesture was nice of them trying to make it right. I just feel like I wasn't important if I wasn't a paying customer at that time even if it was a comped meal by the manager. Really don't want to go back there again...I worked in fast food for years and I hate to complain, but it really isn't that hard, but some employees see all customers as needy people that are burdens to their lives. Read moreI would give 4 stars because my food was correct and very good (not as hot as it should have been but after sitting out for 10 minutes, I'm glad it was warm at all). The lack of the 3 stars is due to the service. This is the 4th time I have placed a mobile Curbside pickup from this McDonald's. 3 out of the 4 times I have placed a mobile, curbside pickup order, after checking in through the app and waiting 10 minutes out in my car for someone to come, I have had to go in to the restaurant. The one time I did not was because I called and they brought it out to me (the excuse was that someone else thought someone else was taking it out.) I asked today if I was doing something wrong to let them know that it was curbside. The girl first told me that mobile orders have to be picked up in the store, but then she saw on the screen that I chose curbside and she said, "No, we just have to wait for someone to bring it out." I understand that most of the workers are probably busy, but if you offer the service there needs to be methods in place to make it work. I have been hoping that maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but clearly after 4 times, this is a pattern. I have had this happen at both lunch and breakfast times. I know that it was cold this morning, but if you don't have anyone who wants to go out of the restaurant, then again, don't offer curbside service. I will NOT be trying a mobile order at this...
Read moreEvery single time I go, something about my order is wrong. I can understand once or twice, but every single time? The employees are at best unprofessional, and at worst downright rude.
Yesterday was the tipping point. I had come through to get a few things from a prior order that they'd forgotten, as well as order a bit more. I had my receipt and the manager said I "should've called." Here's the thing, I did. Twice. Sat on the ringer for more than a minute both times, no luck.
I was told to go to the third window and had the window slammed in my face. The girl only brought out my remakes and her response to me asking where everything else was was "You can come inside." No surprise, one if of the two REMAKES was incorrect.
While I went inside and was trying to tell the same manager what was wrong, she decided to answer a phone call without even telling me to hold on. And then she started ordering crawfish and talking about her extensions! All the other employees gathered around her too.
I've worked fast food, I understand. But I don't think I'm unreasonable in any way to say its bull that they treat customers like that. I called corporate so I hope they do something.
