Iâm white, wasnât allowed in the bar because the Bill of my hat was to flat, (btw it was a surfers hat very discrete), took my hat off and softened up the bill and curved it without ruining it, was kicked out of the line! Sick! I waited outside for my friends that got in no problem and watched as POC got rejected for simple things like their pants were to saggy, or simply got just dressing with swag! Like I littearly saw someone pull up there pants and then try and get in and they were rejected with force! Donât try and speak for your rights because the police regardless of color will call you ignorant! Tonight I was called ignorant because the bill of my hat was to flat.... like I was ready to drop a check in there and everything, and the sickest part, Iâve been in whiskey and fubar wearing the same hat multiple times.. I talked to a couple other people about my issue and it got kinda real because this is what some POC have to deal with every day and I legit just got a small taste of it. So donât spend your money here, they want you to dress white, look white, and sound white! Place is Rats!! Hope they get sued and run out of business. Also apparently according to multiple others the owner is getting sued for racial slurs, which is highly believable, if you donât believe me just look at the big âguest requirementâ sign they have outside... like itâs one thing to have a really fancy bar that requires collard shirts or something, but these idiots are literally finessing money and acting like they own some sort of respectable establishment!...
Read moreIt is really a fun place -- very large, a little bit of something for everyone. One of the largest karaoke rooms of any bar I have been too, Several pool tables, I'd estimate 10, though all covered with black Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 felt instead of more conventional green, maroon or other solid color felt. I believe all tables are 3.5x7.The billiard tables and cue sticks are not for the enthusiasts. The intent is far more casual pool while enjoying music, drinks and friends. The club has a section that has a small Irish tavern feel with hard rock playing nearly half the time though mixed wjth a little bit of everything. Downstairs is a mechanical bull and lots of politically incorrect signage so definitely not for the easily offended. Downstairs has the most pool tables and plays mostly country music and includes a respectably sized floor for line dancing. The middle floor is the more conventional dance club scene. Nearly the whole of the ground level floor is a large dance floor equipped with the classic "Disco" mirror ball, smoke generators, lots of flashing lights and colors and always fast upbeat dance music and a lot of bass, together with small VIP area on the ground level and a VIP balcony. It is the largest night club Huntsville has. It tends to be mostly 20 somethings but the atmosphere is inviting for all ages though being mostly 20 somethings the crowd doesnt start filtering in until 10:00...
Read moreIt was my first time to go. I had a terrible experience. The bartenders were more concerned with being on their phones than taking care of their guests. I was standing talking to one of my friends, when I was grabbed by my arm. He said you are coming with me. I said ok may I ask where we are going. He replied we are going to wonderland. He didn't tell me what was happening or why it was happening. He didn't let me grab my wallet, keys, or cellphone, which was sitting on the table next to where I was standing. My friend followed me when the guy grabbed me. I asked my friend to grab my stuff and tell the other two in our group that I was outside. My boyfriend grabbed my stuff. Two girls were trying to claim my wallet, that had my id inside, phone, and keys. When he grabbed my stuff, 4 bouncers grab him out of nowhere and carry him out. When we asked the bouncers why this happened, no one could tell us why. While standing outside waiting on our two friends inside to close their tab, started cussing us and told us to stand in the street. I found this completely unnecessary. We were being more than compliant and calm. After this terrible experience, we will not be coming back. I will also tell all my friends that whiskey bottoms is not a place anyone would want to go. Their pool tables are quarter tables and the felt was ripped. The unprofessional behavior of the workers there is...
