Arby's — Restaurant in Hurricane

I stopped by there after reading that many fast food restaurants and stores sell 10 lb bags of ice. I have been camping up in Kanab and literally have been blowing through 30 lb of ice a day. I went back to St George for the night and on my way back to Kanab I decided to give it a shot because three different articles stated that Arby's had the number one price for a 10 lb bag of ice $1 I was low on money thought I'd give it a shot. I walked in with a pleasant atmosphere and it smelled fantastic. This wonderful lady walked up to me she was super cute with her pigtails and said how can I help you and I told her that what I was looking for okay she said I don't think so but let me ask and then a gentleman came around who's in the pictures that I attached asked what I needed and I told him about the 10 lb bag of ice thing. He said no we don't sell them but I will gladly give you a huge bag of ice I can dispense for you. It was so sweet and kind and generous and absolutely thoughtful. I think that kind of thoughtful hospitality and customer service will come along once every 100 visits somewhere you go. I told him I was camping and he asked if I had a cooler I'd like to get it filled but it was too big to bring in but he gave me another huge bag of ice. I just want everybody to know that this place is a class act the people are wonderful the atmosphere is fantastic it smells delicious and there is nothing more valuable than the best people working for you....

Update-05.13.2023- This stop wasn't too bad. This time I had the Pastrami on Rye Sandwich and the Chicken Slider. My wife had the 1/2Pound Roast Beef (requested as a wrap instead). My son and his fiance both had the Bourbon Beef Slider. Everything tasted good. My wifes wrap was actually prepared as we asked and she really enjoyed it. The kiddos also enjoyed their sliders. I loved the Pastrami Sandwich. My 3 stars comes from the Chicken Slider. It looked good (as the pics will show) but from the first bite, I just wasn't getting the "mmm" sensation. The chicken seemed dry. Dry enough that the crunch was not an easy bite through but required some scissoring and pulling. The final pic was when I decided that I just could not finish it. I still love this Arby's and see this as a food management versus cost issue. I look forward to my next visit and a chance to redeem the Chicken Slider. The service took a little longer but I know they are short handed. Overall, this place is clean and has a nice ambiance that one hopefully finds in a small town. This place needs to shut down. This Arby's have zero traffic flow but yet we still waited 20mins to wait for two slices of meat in our beef n cheddar and it looked like they put mayo on the bread. So weird. The cashier at the drive through window told me to pull up when there was no traffic, why would you have someone pull up without a two lane, 15 mins later someone else order through the drive throu and we are still waiting in line with no beef n cheddar sandwich. The guy behind us gets his order and starts honking at us. Some male came running out of the building asking whats the problems. This Arby's is the problem. This drive through system sucks. Don't ever tell someone to pull up and have the next guy get his order before us without a lane he can pass us. We only order 3 most worse beef n cheddar sandwich. Take care of your customer accordingly. I was about to get out of my truck and go up to the other driver and case a problem because we were just waiting for our food. This place sucks. Do not recommend EVER. This could be easy, fast but the people inside need more understanding of how this arby's drive though works. Get a two lane or have the people wait at the window...
