I can't believe I just had this experience!! It's the day before Thanksgiving, I order a couple of breakfast sandwiches and hash browns using the mobile app, I realize that when I get to the location, I only have 20 min before I have to clock in for work and I cannot be late. The line is wrapped around the building, so I go inside to receive my order and the workers are so busy on the inside that they are literally ignoring everyone that's standing in the line and I'm realizing that I don't have the time to receive my order anymore, so I had to leave. I go back the next morning for my refund and I was given the hardest time!! After clearly explaining myself to the employee at the register, She begins to claim that my food was ready while I was still in the store that morning and that I had basically chose to leave the location without my food even though it was ready for me and that she had remembered me. Mind you, I've never seen this woman in my life. When requesting a refund she told me that I would have to figure it out online because they do not do refunds. Mc Donald's website clearly states that you must go to the location to receive your refund. "If you experienced an in store or mobile order ahead payment issue or are requesting a refund, please return to or contact the restaurant at which you made your purchase." I was even more shocked when I had asked for a manager and realized that she was the manager. I said "YOU'RE THE MANAGER!?!?!?" I was in such disbelief that I was being treated like a criminal at a freaking McDonald's for a problem that was ultimately their fault. This manager needs a long thorough lession on how to provide customer service, they should also be aware of their own policy's instead of lying to their customers. I don't know what changes were made to the mobile app and why they are now charging customers for their orders before they even receive them, but this caused me to have an absolutely terrible experience. I ended up getting my refund in the end, but I had to fight for it. I don't make enough money just to give it away for free. If for whatever reason the customer did not receive what they paid for, they are entitled to refund because if not, that is stealing. Period. I won't be...
Read moreI'VE Never experienced a situation like I did on April 17th 2021 I was waiting for my food for almost 1 hour 12:47-1:32pm they kept getting orders wrong they were extremely dirty , so many people ahead of me were complaining that there food was missing or not made correctly, finally when I went up to see what was going on they couldn't find my order and then that's when it took almost an hour just waiting ,it ended up getting to a point where me &3 other families were all huddled up at the cash register waiting for our money back because they took that long and not 1 manager tried to turn around and help us they ignore this For 35 minutes straight one coworker (an elderly lady) tried really hard to help us and a co worker started yelling at her "you need to stand over there" yelling it at her so loud the owners should check the cameras to show I'm not lying, We all keep asking where is the manager we kept getting ignored it was so unbelievable on how they were ignoring us and not wanting to help us people were walking in and we were all telling them to turn around ,I never in my life done this .I am such a humble person and I give people the benefit of the doubt but this was insane finally a lady walked up that I assumed was not the manager at 1st because she was the main one listening to us all but I figured she wasn't a manager because she wore a yellow shirt like the other employees did There was a lady in a blue shirt that I thought was a manager but kept ignoring us too. I asked her if she was the manager & she said yes wow i asked her name she did not want to tell me finally she said her name was Annika. I told her that I would be complaining and asked her why she ignored us she could not give me a complete answer she was going to hand me my food when I looked into the bag *even though I knew I was not going to get it *half of my order was missing my iced coffee looked disgusting at the bottom I told her just give me my money back and she still was trying to give me a hard time finally the 3 families behind me were yelling saying they wanted their money back too. Read moreI shouldn’t have to call after the app says that My order will be out soon. Been sitting 20 minutes meanwhile car after car passes us in the drive through. I call, and the lady answers with sass right out the gate. Asks me for my orders and I give her the names. She repeats and says “no, what is your order” and then continues to rattle off what is on our orders (we are the only ones waiting for curbside pickup by the way). She is clearly frustrated and then tells us we have to go through the drive through to pick up our order and that everything else is closed. I explained to her that we’ve been sitting here already waiting, and the app allowed us to order for curbside pickup. She finally agreed to run our orders out to us. But even still she acted like it was my fault they were busy or that It was a problem I ordered ahead.
There are currently no more cars in the drive through. We should have just ordered through the drive through to begin with.
I just don’t understand where the disconnect is. If she saw our order on the screen, why weren’t we prioritized? We are trying to get places. Why were we pushed back? Why did we fall out of the order? What is the purpose of curbside pickup and mobile ordering ahead if you just have to wait for nobody else to be in the drive through?
Super frustrating. Huge waste of our time. We skipped brunch with friends to save time. Now wishing we would’ve just gone to brunch with friends.
Order just got here (25 minutes after pulling in), and the order isn’t even right. Drink isn’t even full, and there is soda all down the sides of it. Breakfast burritos are crusty from sitting under a heat lamp for 20+ minutes. I’d skip...
