I visited this establishment on 3/23/25 around 5:18 PM for a takeout order, and I must say, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was the food subpar, but the blatant disregard for basic food safety and hygiene standards was appalling.
Upon arrival, I waited 20 minutes at the online order counter, completely ignored by multiple employees who walked past me as if I were invisible. It wasn’t until I spoke up that someone finally acknowledged my presence. This level of customer service is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, while waiting, I witnessed an employee talking on his cell phone, then placing it down directly beside the brisket he was slicing—while wearing the same gloves he used to handle the food. This is a severe violation of basic food handling guidelines. Cell phones are known to be breeding grounds for bacteria, and seeing one so carelessly placed near food being prepared is absolutely disgusting. This blatant lack of hygiene is inexcusable and raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and safety of the food being served.
As for the food itself, it was overwhelmingly disappointing. The beans were decent, but the potato salad was overloaded with onions and mayo, making it nearly inedible. The leg/thigh was completely flavorless, as were the ribs, which should be the highlight of any BBQ spot. The sausage was dry, and the peach cobbler had a strange, smoky aftertaste that was off-putting. The only remotely acceptable item was the chicken tenders, which were passable but hardly enough to salvage the meal.
Spending $42 on this experience felt like a complete waste of money. The combination of poor service, unhygienic practices, and lackluster food makes this one of the worst BBQ spots I’ve ever visited. I would never recommend this place to anyone and strongly urge the management to address these serious issues immediately.

The app said that our order would be ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived 20 minutes later and went inside to try to get our take-out order, there was huge number of people waiting to get their order, and no one at the take out counter to talk to to find out what was going on with our order. This was the day before Easter and they were obviously swamped with take-out orders. I understand this and I also realize that there are tough staffing shortages everywhere. But dining room customers were coming in and ordering and getting their food right away while the take-out crowd was waiting and waiting, and there was no way to know where you were in the queue or how much longer it would be. The app should have warned us about the long wait but did not. Finally, I went to the counter where they were taking dine-in orders and asked about our take-out order. I was told that it would take another 30 minutes and that there were 8 people ahead of me. If I had waited, that would mean it would have been well overr an hour before out meal was ready. If the app had told us the true estimated wait time, we could have planned better when to arrive or whether we wanted to wait. But the app did not do that. And there was no way to know when the order was ready. We waited forever watching dine-in customers get their food fairly quickly, while we take-out folks were spilling out the door waiting. I called the next business day at 1110 and was told all 3 Mgrs were in a meeting and to call back in an hour or more. I called back and spoke to a support rep who was very rude, talking loudly and unprofessional. He told me to call Door Dash because they should have told me that they put green beans in my greens and that they didn't give me the smoked sausage on either one of my orders. That is not Door Dash's issues or fault. He said if you want a refund call them. I didn't want a refund. Just to have my items replaced. He told me we are not that type of restaurant where we replace orders the next day.
