Zz Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

Oh my friends, what a lovely coffee shop! This new little hangout is truly special. It is one of those cute, cool places that make you feel that you are no longer in Idaho. The exposed brick walls and high ceiling and the plant store, The Plant Box, which occupies the same space, makes it a welcoming environment (think mini urban garden).

The specialty crafted coffee drinks created by the owner are very tasty! I haven’t yet worked my way through the entire menu but so far I have loved the pistachio cream with the soft cold foam top (pictured) and the lover’s latte with cream and strawberry syrup. I have also tried the Ube Green Tea latte and I am not really a huge fan of ube or matcha but I really enjoyed it! The Honey Bee Pollen latte was fun and unique as well. The horchata latte is also lovely. There is an excellence balance of sweet and flavorful in all of the drinks. I like the fact that the lattes are not overly sweet.

The food at the coffee shop is really tasty. I can recommend the lavender bread with earl grey was just very delicate with just a hint of both and not too “flowery.” I also loved the rose vanilla shortbreads and the Danishes from Carstens are also delish!

So if you need a delicious brew in a cool space go check it out. I am excited to see what kinds of fun additions they will be making...

Delicious Coffee! Little on the softer side, recommend getting an extra shot if you like your coffee stronger like me. I had a delicious Carmel Macchiato love that she uses the premium higher quality syrups for her drinks. Also has a delicious and delectable horchata chai. A good selection of dairy free alternative milks for those who are lactose intolerant. This includes Soy, Almond, and Oat milk. She also has fresh locally made pastries available. All the drinks are reasonably priced and the coffee shop has a great inviting atmosphere. Customer service is top notch and she remembers her regular customers.
