After eating at Dos Panchos a couple of years ago my husband and I thought we would give the another try. The cashier has changed this one is nicer; good start. We placed our order, sat in the patio. The rude woman that would take orders in the past came out only to clean our table, looked at my husband as she clean, didn't clean the other two tables that were a bit dirtier, but ok. I had found this a little particular, oh well I thought. We picked up our food sat down to eat. My husband began to eat his burrito and I began to eat mine; my food was extremely hot in some parts and very cold in other parts. I took it back to the window and asked if this food was freshly made or frozen and reheated in a microwave. The same woman that cleaned our table asked my if I would want may partially eaten food placed in the microwave to be heated. Now a man (cook)? Asked my if I would want another plate and I replied; yes if fresh, thank you. When I returned to the window the man said; because my husband complained a couple of years ago and said: has a picture of him inside and knows what he looks like and because I am now complaining the chose not to serve us again; "don't come back!". My concern is cross contamination of the food, refrigeration/freezer dated foods, temperatures and how foods are being cooked. We will not be back because of this issue and because of the taste of the food; beans swimming in fat/lard, rice tasted old and well as I mentioned above. This eatery has obviously changed hands within the past few (4 years). So don't complain or they will post your picture, who knows what they'll do to your food. Would not recommend...
Read moreGood food but seems like everytime I call to order the phone is left off the hook. I know because when i do get through the girl puts me on hold to handle orders from people who are there waiting, but she forgets that im on the phone and starts joking with her coworkers. Super annoying especially since im sick right now and dont want to go stand out in the cold so I guess ill just take my business elsewhere.
Edit: just showed up because i was curious and i wanted to confirm and yup the phone was just sitting on the counter with the light on lol..wow
Edit2: order came out wrong so i went back and They fixed it but as she handed me the order she commented that next to be clear about my order being plain. So i guess when i said no quac or pico that wasnt clear enough aint my fault she and the other girl are too busy flirting with the cooks serenading them. Bad service.
Edit3: I saw they won an award thought it was to good to be true..and it was. Ordered carnitas mini tacos worst I ever had. They were barely cooked with no seasoning and it was mostly pico with hardly any meat. I remember the carnitas being good and had a nice char to it too. New crew from what I remember in my last post. Felt pretty uncomfortable because they were glaring over at me. Don't know why since I've never seen them before. Guess my gut was right to take my business elsewhere the first time. Won't be coming back here a third time just to feel unwelcome. Sucks I really wanted to give this place...
Read moreI never noticed this little spot and decided to stop by to try it tonight. I give it a 1 star because the cashier was so rude & inpatient.I asked what what toppings came on the tacos and she right away started telling me the types of meat in a sassy way, as I tried to specify what I was asking, she continued to repeat the same and some. My son ordered a wet burrito which she tried saying they didn’t have but was clearly on the menu. Once our food was ready she yelled out in the same tone and mood, that our order was ready- not exactly sure what she said as she threw the bag on the window ledge and walked away. Overall the tacos were dry along with the meat and caked with onion. Interesting to know that each taco comes with a different toppings and different size tortilla- FYI. She was so worried about being rude and obnoxious she forgot to place napkins inside the bag.I won’t be visiting this place again! Clearly she isn’t about customer experience!i don’t think a language barrier was an issue because she spoke English very well. I can only imagine what It’s like working with her.
