We just ate here last night and will never return NOR will we recommend it to others. I called afterwards to speak with a manager and never received a callback. Our waitress was not pleasant and did not bring us anything we asked for in a timely manner: we waited for 40 minutes after ordering and still hadn't received a water, utensils, or our appetizer. I had to stop the waitress as she walked by because she never stopped to check on us. When we asked again for the water and napkins, and inquired about the appetizer, she was very short with us and rude. She brought the appetizer - it was cold - and didn't bring any plates. I ordered a side salad and it never came. I told the waitress and she said she would remove it from the bill. It was still on the bill. Our meals were served lukewarm and the side vegetable was CABBAGE! It was obviously left over from St. Patrick's day, as we were there the day after. I've Never received steamed cabbage as a vegetable side with chicken Marsala or any other meal. Not acceptable, especially with the cost of the dinners. I ordered bow tie pasta for my little one and was given spaghetti (after I specifically discussed this with the waitress). We were never brought bread - again had to track down a waitress (not ours) who brought us one. Asked for more and never received. We witnessed other guests who were waiting with their meals, unable to eat because they had no utensils. Another table requested salt and pepper and never got it so asked to borrow it from the next table. All different waitresses! So while our waitress was less than accommodating, it's obviously an issue with this restaurant overall. Seriously - save your money and walk next door to Keegan's. Half the price, better than food, and the manager will welcome you and thank you for coming. Stay away from TJs. Our bill was $128!!!!! Needless to say, I did not leave a tip and I have...

Had dinner there tonight. We have eaten there before and it was great but had a very disturbing dinner tonight. Last time my husband had ordered the pizza an he liked it so much he orders it again this time. Well to start there was 8 of us our server took everybody’s drink order but my husband an mine an we were sitting right there! My husband orders the pizza again because he had liked it so well last time. He was eating the first piece an thought it tasted alittle funny so he added salt well that wasn’t the problem it was burnt! So after we waited for server to come back we told him an he’s like I will order you another, fine. We were all done eating an his pizza comes😡 so my husband he told him he would take it to go. So I had said to another server they really should take it off the bill thAts not right she suggested I talk to the manager my husband was unaware an had no problem paying for it it was the matter of fact. So I found the manager Christine an I told her it really was unacceptable that he just got his pizza an we were leaving . She didn’t seem to care an my husband heard me talking to her an before we left she was arguing with my husband an said we looked at it an it wasn’t burnt. Unfrickin believable! It was burnt that’s why it tasted bad. Since when does a manager argue with the guests I couldn’t believe it! We are not ones to complain about our food or expect something for nothing I am a server myself an at one time my whole family were servers so we know what servers have to deal with but never have any of my managers argued with a guest. So unfortunately that will be our last visit there. Food was good but manager was very disrespectful! Server last time was Michelle and she was Wonderful but this time different story!...

Beware. This is not family friendly.

My family has been going to TJs for over thirty years. It’s a fond memory of my childhood. Having my grandparents and dad ordering the same cheesesteaks every time, myself ordering a pepperoni stromboli loyally. As we continue the tradition for my own children, ages 2,5 and 8. I called and asked about the kids menu as it is not listed online. I was told on the phone they have “chicken and all the pastas on the menu u come in kid portions”. I said I was going to get their order together and then call back and I did. I ordered three shrimp Alfredo’s for the kids and two other meals for myself and my husband. My mom went to pick up the food as we had five different orders (totaling over $400 in food for dinner). When she got back we looked at the bill and noticed we were charged 11.40 for the kids meal and then an additional 11.40 for shrimp. Mind you it had MAYBE three pieces of shrimp and no one told me this uncharged on either times I called. Not when I asked specifically about the kids meals or when I placed the order. I thought it must be a mistake. The adult portion on the menu was $24. So this would make the kids portion the same. We ended up paying over $60 for three kids meals. When I called to ask, they said it was my fault for not asking and then when I said I would write this review they called me a “horrible person”.

Thirty years. Thirty years of orders. Not to mention thirty years of recommendations to friends. There was not apology. Help. Concern or anything. We called and asked for the manager they did not care. Absolutely criminal to take...

Quaint place. Friendly staff. 2 adults and 4 kids. Emily was our waitress. Salad doesn't come with a pasta meal, it is a dollar fifty extra. Bread was included and came out before the meal with an olive oil rosemary mix in a bowl to dip into. Kids meals are not on menu but are available. There are 3 choices for kids portions: spaghetti and meatballs, fettucini or chicken fingers. Drinks not included. We all ordered water and a carafe was given for refills. Adults ordered chicken parm. It was $16.99 which is a couple bucks more than I'd normally spend (maybe tourist area rate?) the spaghetti sause was a bit too sweet for me. Portions were generous. The meatballs on my daughter's plate were huge and appeared homemade, the pepperoni pizza 2 kids shared was good. This restaurant is owned by a South Jersey originated family. If you want Jersey style pixza, this is a good place for it. (it's very hard finding a good pizza in this area) There is patio seating. A small bar with one widescreen tv is in the far back inside. Driving around the building is tight and narrow. Drive carefully.

I was overhearing a few people at another restaurant brag about this hidden gem on gulf blvd on Indian Rocks Beach. TJ'S Italian Cafe. The ambiance was so relaxing as the classics from Frank Sinatra played, the olde world decor inside paired with a plantation styled outside patio was a nice change from the beach surf type tiki huts. I ordered Veal Piccata which I usually order over linguini (optional). I ordered creamy whipped potatoes and the steamed cabbage medley of carrots, broccoli, onion. The Veal was basking in lemon wine caper sauce, which complimented the veggies and potatoes. I had a white Reisling wine to accompany my meal which arrived hot! That alone speaks volumes. The cream on the top for me was the limoncello cake that was as light and airy as the cappachino I ordered to complete this special treat. I highly recommend going off the beaten tourist trap and patronizing this local favorite. The servers were all hands on with big smiles as they presented the various tables with a feast. I will definitely make this a regular spot to bring visitors, family and friends. 5 stars

What a surprisingly intoxicating Italian experience hidden in plain sight! This restaurant is very upscale although you wouldn't suspect it at first glance! The outdoor patio when you first walk up is just stunning! Complete with comfortable seating and gorgeous chandeliers. When we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the delicious aromas of chicken parmesan, brick oven pizza, and spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. We opted to sit inside because it was humid outside although I seriouly debated sitting on the front porch just to feel like I was a princess at the grand center table underneath the Victorian chandeliers! I have to say - the experience sitting inside felt just as majestic! And we took in all the amazing smells of freshly prepared Italian dishes as they were served from the kitchen! This amazing experience was all so reasonably priced I'm already planning my next visit to indulge in all of their mouth watering dishes!! 😋
