Where do I start? Ok we went to Burger King store #5009 which is almost 10 miles from our house we stopped there went thru drive thru (ordered 2 #1s on whopper jr bun cuz we like to have more beef then bread got 2 kids meals on hamburger and 1 chicken nuggets) everything appeared to be right so we drove all the way home sat down to eat we all usually start with our fries I was just finishing my fries bout to start on my sandwhich when my mother had just took a big bite of her sandwhich after swallowing her 1st bite she jumped up was able to fully breath she ran to sink started downing water when she finally caught her breath she said that sandwhich is super hot still having troubles breathing (my mother has ulcers and CANNOT eat hot stuff) when she was finally able to talk fully she called BK and asked for manager explained to the manager that they put hot sauce on ALL our burger even my daughters had hot sauce on her kids meal burger (highly upset) She mentioned to the manager that they was almost 10 miles away could we possibly go to the one on Shadeland the manager then said No maam we need our food back to replace your order here so we all drove all the way back went inside manager said I pulled up your receipt and had your order ready for you which we had a long drive which would make food cold by time we got there but we proceeded to check order manager herself messed the order up once again we told her order is wrong whoppers is post to be on whopper jr bun so she had them remade brought them back she also had two fries when one was post to be an onion ring so she took the stuff back we then get in the car I went ahead and double checked the food again and she had messed up once again and put two onion rings instead of one I wanted fries so we had to go back in again. The manager had stated well atleast you didnt go to Shadeland they would of messed it up worse. Uhm no I have never had this many issues with a wrong order from BK on shadeland. Im more then mad this lady had a smartbutt attitude and I didnt like it at all. We visited this location at 6:55pm 12/10/15 the 1st time then when having to go back it was around 7:30pm we didnt get done and back home till 8:10pm. I WILL NEVER GO BACK...
Read moreMost BKs that I've been to are awful to begin with in terms of the amount of time spent waiting in the drive-thru and the conduct/attitudes of employees. But THIS particular BK location is the worst! God help you if you go after 7 pm which is what I did. I pulled up to the drive-thru and waited for a ridiculous amount of time for someone to even speak through the speaker only to have the employee tell me they weren't taking any orders because they were doing a "shift change" and it would take 15 minutes before they can resume taking orders. Normally, I would've just left not at all surprised that this BK, yet again, lived up to its poor standards. But, I decided to wait this time around. I was yelled at to "pull around", thus losing my spot in line and I parked at a parking spot close by the drive-thru. I witnessed car after car pulling up to the drive-thru idling in front of the speaker, some up to 5 minutes, before an employee spoke through the speaker letting people know they'd have to wait until their "shift change" was finished. I heard one person say, "you need to let people know faster" after his wait in that dreadful drive-thru. After waiting 25 minutes, I got back in line thinking that surely, they were done with their "shift change". I was wrong! The cars in front of me were STILL being told they couldn't place their orders so I too finally left in disbelief. Disbelief in how that BK store is managed, disbelief in how that BK store can get away with such poor quality in service, disbelief in how that BK store NEVER seems to improve or even TRY to do better. I get that there are tasks/functions that need to be performed during the course of the business day/evening. But good God BK, DO BETTER! Train your employees the value of professionalism and courtesy and maybe, just maybe you can achieve a 2-star rating that's leaps and bounds above the negative territory...
Read moreI went to the drive thru today at 9:50 pm. I had to wait to order for 10 minutes the person (Jaelen) inside came over the intercom twice and said I'll be right with you, there was one car in front of me. At 10:02 pm I placed my order; #9 crispy chicken combo small with a coke, no tomato and a frozen orange crush. I was given my coke and frozen drink at the window and was asked to pull to the front door and my food would be brought to me. I sat and waited and another car was asked to sit by the door too. Finally at 1013 pm a young man came out with my order. This was the same young man I saw half-assed cleaning off the tables and putting the chairs on the tables. He was more interested in what was going on with his phone. It is unfortunate that there aren't as many Burger Kings as there are McDonald's or Taco Bell because I like BK but after today I won't be frequently them anymore or at least not this location. Would I recommend them? No, I'm sure they will come up with some lame excuse. They were short staffed, someone called in or something else. Guess what? Not my problem and who cares. No one should have to wait a total of 30 minutes for fast food. The survey on my coupon....yep I'm gonna tell about my bad experience there too. They also used way too much mayonnaise on my sandwich, no tomato didn't mean extra anything and the fries weren't even hot. If I could give you 1/2 star I would but the lowest I can...
