When my husband and I first started going here, we went 2 days in a row because we loved it so much. We went a third time and loved it just the same. He ordered the Lemon Basil and we both agreed it was really good. The staff had all been super friendly as well. However on our fourth visit, he ordered the same Lemon Basil and there was so much basil, it was all you could taste. I tasted it and you'd have thought he ordered a basil salad with a side of bland chicken. He tried eating it, but just could not. We loved everything else we ordered. I pondered over asking for a replacement scoop of a different flavor and I decided at least asking couldn't hurt, but apparently I was wrong. While the girl who had helped us was very nice, she asked another girl, whom I believe was the manager on duty. This girl with long and wavy dyed burgundy hair came over and asked if I had called in. I said no, we had dined in and it had tasted so strongly of Basil he couldn't eat it and was it possible to get a replacement scoop to go? She paused and said with a dull attitude, "Yeah, okay." No smile, no apology; just a clear irritated look on her face. I would have been fine if she'd said no, but it didn't end there. I walked away to wait for the replacement and my husband and I witnessed her quoting me to the food prep crew saying in a mocking whiny voice "too much basil!" She continued complaining to them as we went to leave. I was not rude to her. I didn't demand more food. I did nothing to receive that kind of disrespect. I've been in customer service for 13+ years and if she can't handle one mild complaint in food service, she should not be in customer service, let alone a leadership position. If we decide to come back, it won't be for the...
Read moreDISASTER!!!! Can i give -10 ☆ Exactly what I expected. I couldn't believe a chkn salad store would last on this side of town, but it had and I love chkn salad. Last week during a family emergency I was in a position to need food quick, light and not greasy so I finally gave in. I knew it was pricey but perfect timing. DISASTER. The young lady at the window started my mood off HORRIBLE, rude, snobby and all I thought was THAT'S who you put in between your customers & your OVER PRICED OVER HYPED food.
Now to the Fancy Fran. Large FIFTEEN dollars. I splurged for the "assortment" of seedless grapes and pineapple. 3 bites in I thought, well it's ok but never paying 15 again. Then it hit me, where's the pineapple and "assortment of seedless grapes"?? After digging....1 full grape, and one small qrtr chunk of one.
This place is stupid and if u r fooled into going, well don't say u weren't warned. GO TO SAMS, GET A ROTIS, PULL IT AND ADD UR FAVS AND ITS THE BEST CHKN SALAD EVER AND NO RUDE EMPLOYEES OR OVER PRICED OVER HYPED.
Heck even chain store bland would be more worth it.
Close this place down! Should be a crime to overcharge that much ESPECIALLY with HORRIBLE customer service....
Read moreIf you like chicken salad, you'll like this place. Chicken salad in every variation I have tried has been excellent. Sides are also excellent. Broccoli salad is about as good as it comes. Why 4 stars then? First, it's a bit pricey for chicken salad and only getting one little scoop. I know, everything is expensive with inflation these days. But quality I guess makes up for that. My bigger beef with this place is the pickles. They are flat terrible! Such good food and then you put such a BAD pickles with the meal! You almost can't bite through the skin and the rest of it is just mushy. Not just a coincidence either, we've been coming here since they are opened and they have been the same since then. Just a shame, I know it's a little thing, but I love pickles so a good one would be the "cherry on top" of the meal so to speak. Overall though, great place, good food, prompt service and the atmosphere is...
