Connor's Pub — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Walked past this place on a cold winter day, 15°F (felt like 7 with wind-chill), patio was empty, and every gas flare they had was burning. Couldn't bring myself to go inside. I do not write many bad reviews. (Check my record.) But this was horrifyingly wasteful. Why would I spend my money at a place that is literally burning money gratuitously? It's like management has no concept of pollution and fossil fuels. Please come join us in the 21st century, friends.

Then I read some of the 1 and 2 star reviews and it all became...

Hands down the best bar I've ever been to. You can't get a better crowd of people in broad ripple than you can at this place. Kind strangers giving people rides home, cheap drinks, great vibe. This is what all of broad ripple should be. The owner's behind the bar giving birthday shots to a guy and his friends. The most thoughtful bartenders ever, they go out of their way to make sure you're good, and your buddy has a ride home and if not they'll get you one.. I simply can't say enough...

No one, from the bouncers to the bartenders cared about the people literally falling asleep/passing out in barstools while drinking. Saw numerous extremely drunk people let in without being carded and served despite the fact that I could tell (as someone who isnt trained to recognize when people have been over-served) that they had too much to drink. Its extremely dangerous for this bar to be allowing people this intoxicated to keep...
