Tldr; Decent food (make sure you specify you want your burger well done), nice service, cafe atmosphere. I'd eat here again.

Visited with a friend early this svening. Ordered and ate the Daddy's burger with fries ($15.95) and a chamomile tea ($3.95). The chipotle mayo was nice. Not too spicy but enough to give it a little kick. Glad the mushrooms were grilled fresh but so very sad there were only 5 slices or the equivalent of one mushroom. The bacon was quality but I like mine a little crispier. Good swiss cheese. I was not asked how done I like my burger yet both mine and my friends burger was served on the rare side of medium. Glad I like mine that way. The meat tasted fresh and it was a good size patty with toasted soft bun. The fries were hot and crispy, sprinkled with a bit of seasoned salt. Our server was polite and attentive and made sure we had a lovely experience. The table was small and the base was not level to the floor so we kept spilling our waters each time one of leaned against the table. Also, we kept hitting the decorations on the ledge of the window. I was cold while sitting at our little table next to the window. More of a cafe feel vs a diner feel. The place was not terribly busy but did have customers when we walked in at about 4:30 pm. Looks like they have a whole coffee set up. I'm curious and look forward to trying a coffee in the morning some time. 12/15 stars, not bad. I'd eat...

We will definitely be back! The staff was very friendly, the food was amazing, and we loved the atmosphere. Son got the fish tacos and hubby has gotten the shrimp tacos before, both delicious. The tacos come with guacamole, pineapple pico, and a Chipotle crema. The pineapple pico takes it to another level. Today hubby got the camarones saltado and it was incredible. I wasn't sure of trying Stir fry with french fries but it was amazing. And the chimichurry sauce with it was a mouthful of flavor. I think I will get that next time, the beef and chicken also looked awesome. I had the jalapeño cilantro burger and fries, and was not disappointed. The cheese was super stretchy and the pico was juicy and worked with the chimichurry sauce perfectly. Lemon bar and tiramisu cupcakes for dessert, and I want to drive back now for about a million more. Tiramisu is my favorite and the cupcake was delicious, I might dream about it tonight lol. Lemon bar was smooth and dusted with powder sugar, made my 6 year old go from being unsure if he wanted to try it to asking if he could finish me and my husband's piece too, in one bite. I'm already planning out my next trip because I know we will...

I don't enjoy talking negativity about small businesses, but after my experience today I felt it was necessary to leave this review.

Everything was fine when I walked in, sat down, and got my water. They moved me from a 4 top to a 2 top since I was the only one dining, not a huge deal. But after I ordered I waited a while hour to get my food because the cook in the kitchen lost my meal ticket. There was one other table that walked out because of the same issue. The quality of the food I got wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the $15 dollars that I paid for it.

Overall I think the restaurant has good potential. I also got the impression that they were short staffed on a Sunday, which seems like a recipe for disaster. If they can manage to hire more staff and fix some of the logistical kinks I believe this would be a great place to eat. Hoping for the best for this...

To be fair, we just stopped in for a cup of coffee and dessert and I really liked what I saw from the start. I had coffee and the gluten free chocolate cake. The coffee was excellent, but I normally would not pay $5 for a plain cup of Joe. The chocolate cake ($8.50) tasted like one big serving of frosting - way too sweet for my taste. The service was outstanding, the place was immaculate, bright and cheery. I took a look at the menu to see what they had to offer and the prices were eye popping. Granted, I did not have a meal here, but I didn't really see anything on the menu that would warrant the higher prices. Visiting this restaurant reminded me of the European coffee shops with all of their wonderful pastries, minus the extremely high prices at this establishment.

This place was GREAT! First item on the checklist: Great service. Friendly. Attentive. Knew the menu. The food was tasty. I never order pancakes but for some reason I decided to this time. So glad I did. The hint of orange zest made these my all time favorite flapjacks. No joke. Skip the more expensive brunch options in BR and try this place. The price, portions, and quality make this the best value in the area. I've seen a lot of businesses come and go at this location. I'm hoping they break the streak because it's hard to find an eatery staffed by people who actually try to make a pleasant experience for their customers, that don't have long wait times, and serve unpretentiously delicious food. Absolutely recommend.

I am a bit of a picky eater but wanted to try something new. I had the Arroz Chaufa and loved it. Hubby had Pollo Saltado- which I thought would be strange having a chicken and rice dish over fries but it was delicious. They bring out a Peruvian sauce and tomatoes corn to top the dish. The sauce is a slightly spicy tomatio sauce but pared well with the fried rice dish I had. It closes early (by broad ripple standards) 8p but it's worth getting dinner early. Definitely step outside your comfort zone and try the Peruvian dishes! Save room for the dark chocolate flourless cake! Service was great and everything was made fresh to order
