Fernando's feels special. There's something wonderful happening here and Indy is lucky to have this oasis. It definitely fills a gap combining super authentic Mexican and Brazilian cuisine, sizzling head-turning dishes, excellent ambience, world class drinks, incredible staff, and the whole thing felt like a big family.

The Pão de queijo (Brazilian Cheesy bread) is absolutely DIVINE. Even better, it's naturally gluten-free with special flour that comes from Brazil! The texture was light, airy, decadent, the cheese is gooey, and so so delicious. They come with sauces that are unexpectedly amazing. This entire experience was unexpected amazing. Best bread I've ever had.

The Pollo Azteca was so good. The sauce is buttery, rich, luxurious, velvety, and felt like a warm hug from someone's grandma.

Our Mango & Coconut Caipirinhas were so refreshing and delicious. One of the best drinks I've ever had and one of the very best drinks in Indianapolis. Perfectly balanced, sweet, and it felt like being on the beach.

My partner ordered the Shrimp Burrito and Yucca fries which were absolutely wonderful. The sauce on the burrito was an excellent and refreshing touch that really elevated the flavor. The Yucca fries were crisp, excellent texture, and the fresh sauce was a star.

The vibe was really cool, quiet in the front with an easy-going bar in the back perfect for groups, dates, or special occasions.

We were here celebrating and this was hands down the best choice! It just felt really special and this is a world-class international experience in Indianapolis that is much needed. Highly recommend.

Fernando's is on POINT!

Finding Fernando's felt like a breath of fresh air. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly. Everything from the lighting to the table placement to the music felt inviting & fresh

My partner & I started with the gluten-free cheesy bread (Pao de Queijo) & the flavor, texture & smell made me do a happy dance (when the food wiggles start, you know it's good!)

We asked our server for drink suggestions & they led us through the menu with descriptions & some of their personal favorites. We decided on the Caipirinha (one mango & one coconut). Both were bright, fresh & delicious

For my meal, I had the shrimp Burripple - the signature burrito - and the homemade red sauce really made it for me. The sauce was vibrant & subtly sweet to balance out the acidity. The shrimp was juicy & the beans were flavorful. I also had an order of the yucca fries on the side. They were crispy & delicious & I wanted a large jar of the dipping sauce to take home!

Our whole dining experience was a vibe. Service was fantastic, energy was right & the food was so comforting. Glad to have the Mass Ave location so close to our house. We'll...

I rarely write reviews, but this new restaurant in town absolutely deserves all the praise. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The interior is stunning, a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm. Soft lighting, thoughtful décor, and comfortable seating made it feel both upscale and welcoming. You can tell real thought went into the design.

Now let’s talk about the food, wow! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chef knows what they’re doing. The appetizer had the perfect balance of seasoning, the main course was cooked to perfection, and the dessert? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of the city with easy access. Whether you’re planning a date night, dinner with friends, or just grabbing a bite solo, this place fits the bill.

I’m so glad we found this spot, it’s going to be our new go-to....

Atmosphere and drinks were incredible! Pastel was amazing. The feijoada was delicious (almost exactly like it was in Brazil) but moqueca de peixe was a bit less flavorful and not as authentic (too many onions, less flavor, not enough seafood) as what you get in Bahia. With that, I do understand that not everything will be quite the same as experiencing Brazilian food in Brazil. We look forward to trying more dishes here and will definitely be back!
