Goodies and Giggles Toy Store — Local services in Indianapolis

I typically forget to write reviews, but I needed to take a moment to rave about Goodies and Giggles Toy Shop.

I live over 2 hours south of Indy, but there is a little 3 year old girl very near and dear to my heart that has been admitted to Riley and will be having a pretty serious surgery tomorrow. I wanted to send her something special other than the normal balloons, flowers, etc. Someone recommended this store to me on Reddit and I reached out them to let them know what I was looking for, provided some interests of my little friend, and gave them the amount I was looking to spend. The sweetest women, Gwen and Hannah, promptly responded to my request and not only offered to curate some items they thought she would love, but they also wrapped it up in a beautiful gift basket AND even offered to deliver it to Riley hospital (Something I’m not sure that they typically do!) all in the same day!

I cannot recommend this store enough. Not only is the staff excellent, but they have an amazing toy selection! Unique items that you can’t just find anywhere, with very reasonable prices. I’m looking forward to visiting their brick and mortar next time I’m in Indy. l was told that the look of surprise on my little friend’s face was priceless when she saw her basket being brought into her room. ☺️💕 Thank you Goodies...

Goodies and Giggles- finally a toy store in downtown Indy!! First- love that this store was started by a local mom of 3 who lives downtown and wanted something for her community. The founder, Gwen, has a background in therapy and counseling and so she did a ton of research on the best toys for play therapy. In other words- this store is FULL of the best reviewed toys by therapists, doctors and experts for development with kids of all ages. Another thing I love about this toy store- beautiful brands that you won’t find at Target or Walmart or Amazon. The owner goes to all the toy shows and knows what the next big trends will be- but she’s selling the beautifully made products. Also- an awesome selection of toys for neurodivergent kids.

The staff is super knowledgeable and gives great advice if you are buying a present or want something special for a niece or nephew or grandkid ..or your own kid.

The space is beautiful and the prices are super reasonable….they even have their own parking which is impossible in downtown Indy! Cant...

This is an amazing toy store!!! And finally one for all the families in the broader downtown area! They have a wide range of toys and games (including many board games) for all ages. Browsing and holding toys in your hand is just 1000x better than looking online. Super helpful staff — a couple weeks back I needed a birthday gift for a 4 year old who loves cars and the woman pointed me to a box set of cars of different colors and shapes that can be arranged in different ways on a cardboard parking lot… and now the boy is completely obsessed with it. Best gift ever.

I now stop in here regularly just to browse for small toys for my two kids. Highly highly recommend, buy all your gifts and toys here. FYI parking is weird as you do have to pay in the lot (or just dont bother the city probably wont check honestly), or else there is free parking behind Circa apartments...
