I can't believe this place has such a high rating, yet another example of "oh good ratings online, must be good right" Wrong! I ordered two things from this Arabic place. Thing number 1. BBQ beef Panini Thing number 2. Gyro. of people on the line in front of me or behind: zero. This part is important as all I said was for here and no tomatoes. The guy taking my order was one of those "I care but not really". The lady cooking the food is two feet from him, how hard is it from him to say "hey no tomatoes" or for her to come out of lala land and pay attention but nope.
Food itself: Let's look at the Freshness. Gyro was fresh but taste was ok. Nothing to write home about. They don't really know how to wrap up a Gyro in the Midwest so they just throw everything in a pita bread shell and have at it. Kind of like throwing a DART.
The BBQ beef Panini was horrible. Either the panini machine needs servicing/upgrade or the bread was way past its expiration date because you can taste the non-Freshness. The beef lacked flavor. The BBQ sauce was god awful. It's one of those store bought ones where you CAN taste the plasticky, machine processed taste.
But hey, the napkins were in good shape so I guess...

The good: The staff was very friendly, from the cashier to the people making the salads/sandwiches. Even though they were hard to understand at times, they were always courteous. The menu is well-varied from sandwiches, soups, gyros, salads, and smoothies, and the prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are filling and the ingredients were fresh.
The not-so-good: The time it took to make our food was longer than I would've liked, and the salad options were not as numerous as some of the other choices.
Food/drink:...
Read moreI popped into the food court to grab a bite and as I walked through I realized that it was nearly impossible to get a single entree for under $12. As I left the food court I saw this little place called Freshway and they had a gyro for $5.99. It was made fresh with delicious pita bread and loaded full of fresh veggies. It was so hot that I couldn't touch it for a few minutes to let it cool and when I was done with the gyro I was more than satisfied (they aren't small). Thanks for a healthier alternative for a price that...
