Beware! This location used to be great, but has gone completely to trash lately. Went thru the drive-thru at 6pm last night, there was no line. I waited at the speaker for 5mins with no greeting, then pulled around to the front to make sure the place was open. I saw a large man in a green t-shirt sitting in the lobby eating, so I knew they were open. I parked and went inside to place my order and realized the guy in the green shirt WAS the employee! He seemed super annoyed that a customer had interrupted his meal (at peak dinner time). I asked him if the drive-thru was closed, to which he responded, "Yeah."..I mentioned that he should probably put a sign out on the speaker so customers wouldn't sit there and wait to be helped like I had. He just ignored me and took my order. The food was cold, and the heat lamp above the fry bin wasn't even turned on. I know it's a a Hardees and I shouldn't expect amazing service, but this "employee" may be the worst I've ever seen. He couldn't care less about the restaurant, or even attempting to provide good service. There was previously an amazing Hispanic manager that always provided great service, I hope he's not gone, because this guy last night, who wasn't even in a Hardees uniform, will have this location shut down in no time. I tried to call both last night and today to give feedback, and every time the phone just rings and then goes to a fax machine. I highly recommend going a bit further to the Castleton location if you want to get hot food and decent service. Do...
Read moreI ordered a double mushroom and swiss combo, with the mushrooms on the side and paid a little over $14. We got home, unwrapped it, and it was literally a slice of cheese on a bun with NO burgers. No meat at all. We drove back and explained the situation, I gave them back the bun with cheese and showed my receipt. He took it, and handed me another bag. My mom opened it while we were still in the drive thru, took a bite, and discovered it was a single. Not the double we ordered and paid for. I got the employee's attention and told him we ordered and paid for a double and showed my receipt again. He then told me since she took a bite, if I wanted the double cheeseburger, I would have to pay for the single. I said whatever, and handed him my card, he told me it would be $3 and some change. Crazy that they're charging me at all after handing me a bun with zero burger that I had to drive back for. Then they give me the double cheeseburger I originally ordered and paid for and a receipt. The receipt shows they charged me almost $10 for ANOTHER double cheeseburger. I pointed this out and they acted confused, and basically like they couldn't do anything to help me. I checked my bank account and saw they charged me $14 for the original meal (for which I got bread and cheese), $10 for another double cheeseburger, and $3 and change for the single TWICE. A total of 4 charges totaling about...
Read moreFor me, visiting this place was a little odd. I walked in, used the (clean) washroom, and walked up to the counter, where there were no other people- neither customers nor workers. But--I could hear a woman's laughter, far back, like in an office or a storeroom--over and over while I read the overhead menu. After some time, maybe five minutes, I started to call "hello" toward the back rooms. After a few hellos, a worker came out from the backrooms--probably not the person laughing, because he was a young man-- and asked "what's up?" It was as if it was weird of me to be there. I said that I wanted to buy food, and he took my order. The food came out very quickly, and tasted good. Honestly, nothing bad happened, it was just weird. I kind of feel bad that my review doesn't have more stars, because I used the extra time to decide on my order. I definitely recommend this Hardee's if you need extra time to decide and enjoy a quirky experience. Maybe it's different for the...
