I placed a mobile order instead of going through drive thru when placing a large order and did not receive my entire order as well as multiple items with modifications being made incorrectly. I called to ask about a refund. I was told I needed to come back in store to get my items. I'm not going back out tonight. I dont see kfc paying for my gas and wear and tear on my vehicle, so this is an absurd demand to make when I didn't make the mistake. I requested a refund and was refused even though they failed to provide the items I had paid for. The gm refused any contact information for anyone above her including corporate due to her being on vacation. I wanted to make it easier on a clearly understaffed location and just get corporates number to request my refund since the General Manager was no help. I've been a franchised general manager before and refusing a refund when purchased items are not fulfilled is unacceptable and would had gotten me written up for poor customer service as well as a re-coaching session on how to handle a dissatisfied customer. Saw a few cars in the parking lot and only 2 at the drive thru so figured I should get my food relatively quickly as they clearly weren’t busy. I pull up, place my order, pay, and am then directed to pull around to the parking lot and they will bring me my food. After parking I look around and realize that all the other cars were people also waiting for food, not sitting inside eating! A full half hour later I finally get my food and drive home, less that 5 minutes away. I go to take a bite of my chicken and immediately spit it out as it is at best lukewarm and clearly under cooked. After all that I only had the biscuit and side of mashed potatoes to eat.
Don’t order online! We went to pick up our order and they said someone else picked up our order and it wasn’t their fault. Something suspicious is going on. It said it would be ready in 5 to 15 minutes and by the 15 minute mark we got there and “already gone”! The lady said “it’s not our fault we set it out there and someone picked it up” so you’re asking me to verify my order but you put them out where people can take the food freely, yes it is your fault! I honestly think they are taking the food and money and telling us “someone else picked it up” the one manager was very hostile and aggressive. Why be so aggressive if you’re not guilty! Some fraud is definitely going on. We didn’t get our food we paid for and we had to call and get our refund! Horrible management and service. They definitely need to be investigated and looked into if customers are getting free meals. And the customers that paid for the meal are getting yelled at and told there is nothing they can do.
