Happy Chicken — Restaurant in Indianapolis

12/23/24 was my first time trying this place. I ordered two 5 piece chicken meals, one with potatoes and greens beans and the other with yellow rice and green beans. What I received was two three piece chicken both with dried up hard yellow rice and can green beans. Please check your food before you leave. Evidently this is something they do because the lady before me asked twice before she left ho many pieces of chicken do she have. I should’ve checked mine but I waited till I got home. When I called the lady asked me “ whats your problem lady” with no accent. I will never go back to this place. Customer service sucks. Kitchen nasty. And they cheat you outta your money. I must say I've find a topnotch chicken joint in town the owner welcome me through the back door of his business and out the front door with major love Mr.Cordel is a well respectful man and his staff as well. His chicken 🐔 is on fire 🔥 I rate this place a 10 out of 10 and that's on the real. Whenever I come to indiana. I will make sure I will stop here and get me a dinner with the cigar man next can't beat that . Thank you for your service and may God bless you.

I really wanted to like this place because the food looked so good and it has good reviews and the gentlemen inside are so nice and friendly and they gave me a free chicken thigh with potatoes which btw were delicious BUT the chicken bowl I had, messed my stomach up.. it affected my whole afternoon.
