Jordans Fish and Chicken 86th St & Michigan Road( THE ORIGINAL) — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I really hate to write bad reviews especially to a place I frequent often both through pick up as well as DoorDash and Uber Eats. I always order the same thing chicken tenders and fries. Tonight ordered through DoorDash and when I got my order I was ready to tear into the big fat juicy chicken tenders I'm used to getting only to be disappointed by these small ugly dark brown old oil fried to long looking tenders and the smell of lemon pepper on the burnt chicken and way too much I guess trying to cover up the nasty taste of the nasty chicken. Only thing that was edible was the fries and they were soggy. Chicken over cooked and fries coulda used a couple more mins. Sadly the reason I'm writing the review is because this isn't my first time receiving chicken like this. It's now been like 3 times over the last month all through DoorDash or Uber Eats. If I order here again I will only do pick-up cause chicken like this should never ever ever ever go out to a customer looking like this. I spend to much money at this establishment to receive chicken...

BEWARE !!! It was my first and LAST time eating from this location. I ordered the catfish nuggets and fries. The breading on the nuggets was hard like a crust, which was strange, but I just assumed that they were slightly overcooked, which happens sometimes. But after eating two nuggets, I had a weird taste in my mouth. The third nugget had a strange smell to it, so I decided to peel off the outer shell of breading. This fish was either freezer burnt, had been previously cooked and refrozen, or something worse. I only at two of the nuggets, and boy was I in for a ride. I wasn't able to sleep that night and was sick on the stomach for the next two days. I didn't bother contacting them because I can't imagine that they would care seeing as how it didn't bother them to give me this dangerous seafood. If I could give 0 stars I would. First I want to explain, I have been to this store approximately 5-6 times the first 3 times the meal was good and I referred several people. I prefer my fish fried hard not soft and every time I request it this way. The last 2 times it was not cooked the way I prefer (hard) I purchased a $32.00 family order, when I got home the fish was soft and falling apart. I called to speak to the manager I explained my problem and after a very civil discussion he advised me he would replace my order all I would have to do is bring in my receipt. I went to the store with my receipt 2 weeks later. The manager refused to honor the receipt and when I requested my receipt back, he could not locate it. I will never patronize this business again. If a business does not appreciate its customers it will not survive ....word...
