Often I have meant to leave a review at this McDonald's & even have mentioned I would when I have eaten here in the past So as in often do seem to over think I often forget to actually contribute the ways I really do desire to This McDonald's is the only one for a pretty good distance & for anyone walking or taking a bus to work or just lives close by I really do see why people choose to come to McDonald's Speed with accuracy is really amazing to me Ever since I was a kid know it's just about always been that way & yet at a McDonald's restaurant today they have a quantity of orders to fill & people to serve that is much higher & orders are taken to tables they have at least two different delivery services to fill which for me when I worked at Taco Bell was hard to keep straight in my mind because orders at restaurants used to have a much more simple order screen & would be made in order usually With all of that said the employees here have been very kind to me & the fact that I know I am not always at my best in a physically social environment being who I really desire to be in just simply being kind & especially in really reciprocating the smiles & kindness given to me & while I know this is a long review I really don't know how to say thank you to the many individuals that I sincerely know I can't imagine who or where id be as a person if I hadn't received so much from all the people here that has welcomed me Today a couple employees where sitting with a group & it seemed like a meeting I was feeling really discouraged & as they got up a couple of them, one was a veteran asked how I was & stopped to chat & so as much as I write this to recommend this location to you as a potential customer I really hope & pray I can remember to post true gratitude to & for the individuals who make the city I live in a city I am thankful to be a part in Please encourage the person that serves you today Please help them by doing the simple grown up things we can do to give us all a clean city & make the people who make the feed we are blessed to have to eat feel truly appreciated I see a cleaner city just about everywhere I go & cleaner restrooms to YET UNITY IS WHAT REALLY STANDS OUT MOST THE KNIDNESS I REALLY FALL SHORT SO OFTEN BEING SOCIAL MISSING THE CHANCE TO LIFT A PERSON I ENCOUNTERS SPIRIT & THAT IS TO ME THE BEST QUALITY TO HAVE SOCIALLY & IS A QUALITY I AM CONTINUING TO WORK ON THANK GOD I STILL GET TO IMPROVE & THANK YOU FOR...
Read moreTonight I used McDonald's mobile app to place my order. This process consists of constructing your order on the app then paying then checking in when you arrive at the restaurant. I followed this process but when I arrived at the window for pick up I was told "I need you to pull over to reserve spot 2". No explanation, no apology for the inconvenience, just orders to move. I explained very politely that I was uncomfortable moving because the last time I visited this particular McDonald's I was asked to pull up and they subsequently forgot my order and even admitted so much when I went inside to get it myself. It was, in fact, the very same employee that forgot my order on my previous visit that had just asked me to pull into reserve spot 2. After my explanation and refusal to comply, another employee whom I can only assume is the manager came to the window and began yelling at me to move. When I asked for an explanation as to why my order was not ready she began to berate me about the mobile app. She said, "when you people use the mobile app it doesn't give us the order until you get to the speaker". I said, "just like everyone else that orders, right?", it's not my fault if she doesn't like McDonald's mobile order system. She said my order would take 3 minutes it took 7 which is not the issue at all. My issue is why is everyone behind me in line more important than I am as a customer, and why does no one at this place know how to provide any level of customer service. Btw, my order was incorrect when I got home 😄. I'll go the McDonald's on 96th and Meridian, they literally charge more for the same items but...
Read moreThis location has drastically gone down hill. A couple years ago they had a large number of Hispanics on their staff, the team they had at that time was awesome. Very fast and very sincerely friendly. I've noticed with all of them gone, I no longer have a warm greeting consistently and my order is wrong at least half the time (probably more like 75% of the time, so often that I don't EVER leave the drive through without checking the bag). This is not to say all current workers are bad. It's just not like it was. Not sure what happened, but it's a shame. The drive thru was ALWAYS fast, now it's slow many times and don't order a bfast item after bfast hours!! SLOW. and you will have to pull forward and wait for an item while the rest of your food gets cold and we all know you have to eat McDonald's hot otherwise you become keenly aware of the fact it is not quite "real food". Also their remodel is horrible. It's vacant like and cold, with 80s style wood grain on walls (not the wood trend look currently popular but the look that was in my bff basement in 1985). Also, why on earth let the fire place go? That was the best part, cozy and inviting. Looks like they may have wanted a modern star bucks feel, but had a Sears designer on a goodwill budget. It's just blah and ugly. Fortunately I rarely eat McDonald's. The food, on my last visit was fine, no issues...
