We were a party of three.
We immediately had water but sat more than 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another few minutes to for our server to take our order. Our server was very pleasant though.
One had a margarita pizza that was great with alot of fresh tomatoes and julienned basil over the top. My Porkbelly BLT was delicious with tender pork belly that cut like butter with a fork. I only could eat half as I couldn't resist a piece of pizza when offered! I ended up eating the meat out of the second half since it was too good to waste. My fries were cold so I did not eat them but my coworker said her fries were hot. The restaurant offered a double cheese burger but my coworker wanted only one paddy and the restaurant was accomodating. She saw the huge double cheeseburgers that were being served and ordered a single paddy.
The service was satisfactory as they were understaffed out front. I think the backline was well staffed because we didn't wait long for our food to come out hot (except for my fries which I always immediately taste).
I have mobility issues. The bar/restaurant had a lot of seating..at the bar with barstools, tables, booths that sat two and a step-up booths. We waited for a table to become available since the hostess/server said one was going to be available in ten minutes. That table wanted to sit and chat longer than ten minutes so she offered to try the booth to see if I could sit. It has a step into which was taller than a standard step. So I tried and I could sit. I am tall, so it was easy for me to lean to sit and just swing my legs around. I could slide out by swinging my legs around and sliding about four inches till my feet could reach the ground, much like getting into and out of a SUV. If you are in a wheelchair you can get at the low tables only. There's a cafe/lounge that you have to go through to get to the Ten Hands. It is easy to navigate through when its relatively empty. However, its hard to go through because there is little leeway when chairs were pulled out from tables.
Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch and would urge others to...
Read moreHad high hopes for dinner after a long day at the convention. Who knew they would be dashed because this restaurant has a love for peppadew peppers and dont think they are spicy to mention it on the menu.
Waitress Summer was extremely helpful and nice. I wasn't going to say anything because my husband didn't mind the spice, while I was literally rubbing the ice water glass over my lips. He didn't know what those peppers were either. She noticed and must have said something to the manager. We had ordered a sausage pizza The pizza came loaded with the peppadew peppers and about ahalf of a RAW red onion sliced on it. Not exactly how we envisioned it when we saw the ingredients listed.
Summer ( by word of manager) offered me a free dessert since I couldnt eat dinner ( things were pretty pricey as they always are in the big city and didnt want to pay for something else and not like it). Didn't get the free dessert since it was my preference not to eat the very spicy to me but mildly spicy to my husband pizza. Wasn't their fault per se. Overall, I'd go again, but definitely ask questions of an ingredient listed on the menu.
The pizza sauce was bland per my husband, probably why they added so much ' flavor' with the spicy peppers and raw red onions. The sausage was okay. They were sliced pieces sort of like kielbasa. Should have ordered a burger, but I was trying to go outside my wheelhouse. That'll teach
They serve pepsi products. I had diet pepsi which was great, husbands diet mountain dew had no taste, seltzery tasting, at...
Read moreHello! My Fiancé and I are regular Bonvoy users. We’ve stayed at many hotels and we absolutely adored The Westin in downtown Indianapolis. With it being downtown I loved that it was off on its own little street, so Valet parking was smooth. We went to the bar soon after checkin and Robert kindly informed us that they were short staffed and to allow his waitress alittle time. We honored his honesty and sat down for maybe 5 minutes. There was about 8-10 people sitting and enjoying themselves plus my party of 4. The waitress Summer was extremely seasoned in her job because she effortlessly handled all of us in the bar. Our food was amazing. We ate the pork nachos with the big pretzel. Also, our cocktails were all delicious and made properly. David and Ayshia did a great job behind the bar! They were a treat. We slept like babies in the room 1318. The sheets were like butter, and I loved the softness of the grey throw blanket. Very nice. The bathroom mirror was a main touch and so was the vinyl floors. Clean and sleek. We ate breakfast at Ten Hands. Lori was our waitress and lord is she a blessing to be around. Her hospitality is top tier. Our food was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and my fiancé had the eggs, potatoes, toast, and fruit. All great! We loved being in such a positive environment with well management! Thank you...
