Located in the Westin downtown Indy, this upscale bar is definitely worth coming to even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Glass walls give full street view and good people watching. TVs fill the wall above the bar. Bartender Carson was mag, and made me a delicious strawberry cocktail with fresh crushed strawberries, followed by a beautiful pork chop dinner with Pinot Grigio. So much food I couldn’t eat it all but enjoyed every bite that I did eat. Just one thing (not that I could have held another bite) but hey where is the dessert menu? Carson made all of us at the bar feel taken care of and comfortable and soon we started talking with each other the way strangers at a bar who are traveling do. I meant some really interesting people, including a Presbyterian minister who had grown up in Alaska in much the same lifestyle as the “Life Below Zero” show, came to the States and built a $5m construction business that bottomed out in the mortgage bubble bust, lived in a homeless shelter for awhile before turning his life around and entering the ministry. He encouraged me in my recent job loss and is someone I will never forget. That is the kind of experience you can have at a place like this. Wishing this man the best in his journey, Carson all the best as he goes to Purdue, and thankful for good food and places like this where you meet good people.

I didn’t stay at the hotel. We stopped here just to have lunch. The funny part is the host mentions as we were going in that they were an automatic 18% gratuity added to a party no matter the size personally, they cheated themselves out of 2% as normally we tip 20 as long as the service is good, I think anytime somebody mandates a tip percentage the expectation if you have really good service, you want to reward the server for that With that being said I had a Reuben, it is what I order at almost every place and it was good the french fries were just OK they were not cooked correctly. Others in our group had the fried chicken sandwich which was massive and unfortunately, I did not get a picture of it. The nachos also looked delicious. I did like the ambience and I noticed when I went to the bathroom if you sit at the bar, they have fast chargers built into the bar. Overall, I would come here again.

While staying at the Westin we came here several times… this is the hotel’s bar/restaurant which is open all day everyday. The service was a mixed bag… some was decent, some was pretty bad, but all was friendly. I came for breakfast one morning and waited 10 mins for someone to greet me at my table (after being sat) and when she did come, she apologized and took my order, she was very friendly too. But, unfortunately, the service remained very slow that morning. I ordered a simply parfait and it took 15 minutes to arrive. The yogurt and grains on it were good, but some of the strawberries weren’t fresh and had dried centers to them. I was here a couple of times for drinks as well and those visits were tolerable, but far from great, or very good. Overall, not a bad spot to grab a drink, but I decided to eat elsewhere the rest of my stay.

We were a party of three.

We immediately had water but sat more than 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken and another few minutes to for our server to take our order. Our server was very pleasant though.

One had a margarita pizza that was great with alot of fresh tomatoes and julienned basil over the top. My Porkbelly BLT was delicious with tender pork belly that cut like butter with a fork. I only could eat half as I couldn't resist a piece of pizza when offered! I ended up eating the meat out of the second half since it was too good to waste. My fries were cold so I did not eat them but my coworker said her fries were hot. The restaurant offered a double cheese burger but my coworker wanted only one paddy and the restaurant was accomodating. She saw the huge double cheeseburgers that were being served and ordered a single paddy.

The service was satisfactory as they were understaffed out front. I think the backline was well staffed because we didn't wait long for our food to come out hot (except for my fries which I always immediately taste).

I have mobility issues. The bar/restaurant had a lot of seating..at the bar with barstools, tables, booths that sat two and a step-up booths. We waited for a table to become available since the hostess/server said one was going to be available in ten minutes. That table wanted to sit and chat longer than ten minutes so she offered to try the booth to see if I could sit. It has a step into which was taller than a standard step. So I tried and I could sit. I am tall, so it was easy for me to lean to sit and just swing my legs around. I could slide out by swinging my legs around and sliding about four inches till my feet could reach the ground, much like getting into and out of a SUV. If you are in a wheelchair you can get at the low tables only. There's a cafe/lounge that you have to go through to get to the Ten Hands. It is easy to navigate through when its relatively empty. However, its hard to go through because there is little leeway when chairs were pulled out from tables.

Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch and would urge others to...

Had high hopes for dinner after a long day at the convention. Who knew they would be dashed because this restaurant has a love for peppadew peppers and dont think they are spicy to mention it on the menu.

Waitress Summer was extremely helpful and nice. I wasn't going to say anything because my husband didn't mind the spice, while I was literally rubbing the ice water glass over my lips. He didn't know what those peppers were either. She noticed and must have said something to the manager. We had ordered a sausage pizza The pizza came loaded with the peppadew peppers and about ahalf of a RAW red onion sliced on it. Not exactly how we envisioned it when we saw the ingredients listed.

Summer ( by word of manager) offered me a free dessert since I couldnt eat dinner ( things were pretty pricey as they always are in the big city and didnt want to pay for something else and not like it). Didn't get the free dessert since it was my preference not to eat the very spicy to me but mildly spicy to my husband pizza. Wasn't their fault per se. Overall, I'd go again, but definitely ask questions of an ingredient listed on the menu.

The pizza sauce was bland per my husband, probably why they added so much ' flavor' with the spicy peppers and raw red onions. The sausage was okay. They were sliced pieces sort of like kielbasa. Should have ordered a burger, but I was trying to go outside my wheelhouse. That'll teach

They serve pepsi products. I had diet pepsi which was great, husbands diet mountain dew had no taste, seltzery tasting, at...

Hello! My Fiancé and I are regular Bonvoy users. We’ve stayed at many hotels and we absolutely adored The Westin in downtown Indianapolis. With it being downtown I loved that it was off on its own little street, so Valet parking was smooth. We went to the bar soon after checkin and Robert kindly informed us that they were short staffed and to allow his waitress alittle time. We honored his honesty and sat down for maybe 5 minutes. There was about 8-10 people sitting and enjoying themselves plus my party of 4. The waitress Summer was extremely seasoned in her job because she effortlessly handled all of us in the bar. Our food was amazing. We ate the pork nachos with the big pretzel. Also, our cocktails were all delicious and made properly. David and Ayshia did a great job behind the bar! They were a treat. We slept like babies in the room 1318. The sheets were like butter, and I loved the softness of the grey throw blanket. Very nice. The bathroom mirror was a main touch and so was the vinyl floors. Clean and sleek. We ate breakfast at Ten Hands. Lori was our waitress and lord is she a blessing to be around. Her hospitality is top tier. Our food was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and my fiancé had the eggs, potatoes, toast, and fruit. All great! We loved being in such a positive environment with well management! Thank you...
