Extremely OK. The atmosphere of the place is nothing to write home about. My family of 5 went in at the recommendation of my daughter who had been in before with family. She raved about the chicken tenders. Well, we ordered two orders of chicken tenders, the brisket nachos, two orders of fries and I had a side salad. Our waiter William seemed incredibly annoyed to have us. I get how servers feel when they see families but, they aren't supposed to readily recognize that you don't want to serve them. He was far more interested with making sure we ordered more and more food instead of taking the order we were making. On the flipside, I do appreciate him telling me that the pretzel app was just 3 sticks tho. He also said that the chicken tenders app was only 5 tenders which is why we ordered 2. To charge what they do for the portion size they offer isn't ideal. I didn't ask if the chicken tenders came with fries so when they arrived with fries, I asked the lady who brought the food if that was the side all she said was "I'll get you some more" and ran off. I addressed it with our server and he just said "she's new". How long do you have to work in a restaurant to know you only bring people the food they order? Because we ate them I paid for it. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Unless of course, they want overpriced and underspiced food with a dash of uncomfortable vibes. Oh, and he still got tipped.

Tavern At The Point is a part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group. They took over the location that used to be called "The Old Point." A lot of locals were really concerned about the transition and if it would maintain the feel of the original beloved "Old Point." I feel they did a wonderful job and I feel kept the same good vibe of The Old Point. The servers are great & it got a nice touch up. It seems there is more room now and the overall functionality is nice. My take is this place has a small pub menu which is just right. The staple is the Fontana Burger. The servers don't get fussy if you ask them to leave off the Fontana sauce and replace it with Mayonnaise. I had to try it both ways to see how it did without its signature sauce. It was great. The biggie for me is it has AMERICAN cheese which should always be an option if you are serving burgers. Easy access to this place especially if you are a local. They have great drink specials. The service and food quality is tip top.

This gastro-pub-style bar is a fantastic spot to kick back with a drink and soak in the energy of the city. With plenty of outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to grab a table (if you can snag one!) and enjoy some top-notch people-watching—the diverse crowd passing by makes for a lively and entertaining backdrop. The drink menu has a nice mix of classics and creative options. I went with the Blood Orange Sparkler, made with Tito’s vodka, blood orange liqueur, lemon, and bubbles—strong, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The beer was ice-cold and hit the spot as well. While we stuck to drinks this time, the bar fare coming out looked just as solid—definitely the kind of place you can count on for bar food done right. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe round out the experience. Whether you're stopping in for a casual drink or spending a sunny afternoon on the patio, this place delivers.

Me and my girlfriend stopped in here not too long ago while visiting from out of town. We were excited to see good reviews and the pictures looked very nice. When we walked in we were greeted and sat quickly and professionally while our waiter handled our drinks and order to the nines. I have no quarrel with the service of the restaurant. My dissension is with the food itself. My girlfriend ordered the shrimp wrap, while I chose the cheese curds; and to say both of the plates were bland would be an insult to the word bland. From what I could tell the cheese curds were bottom scrapings from the fryer because the amount of pure beer-batter-filled breading I bit into was repulsing. Half of the plate contained no cheese. My girlfriend bit into her wrap, looked at me in confusion, and said the most flavorful thing in her mouth was the actual spinach leaf tortilla itself. She said none of the fillings had any flavor. And after eating a single shrimp myself, I can confirm, it was near frozen and tasteless. I spent more time thinking of my review for this than I actually spent enjoying my food. The atmosphere was great; we loved how warm and updated everything looked. But I couldn’t find myself escaping the feeling that they were charging triple what their food is worth just to make up for the interior remodel loan. We truly appreciate the kind service, but I just couldn’t excuse the fact that it was all nullified by the insipid, boring food we put in our mouths. Indianapolis does have good tap...

So we visited the Tavern Sunday afternoon, our first time there. The atmosphere is not balanced. I love the big windows and looking out, but with the decorative metal ceiling it creats a lot of echo which creats lots of noise. There were 5 of us at a 2 top and I could not hear the person sitting 2 chairs down. The food was disappointing. 1st the menu is terrible with little to offer, at least on a Sunday. I got the chicken fingers, with buffalo sauce... it was a puny helping. 5 pieces ...4 were about 4 inches long, 1 was 3. Maybe the width of a nickel, and over cooked. On top of that they don't have bleu cheese for the buffalo. The gave me ranch. Now that cost $13. Nothing else bcause it was only offered as an appetizer. Our server was very nice, friendly and polite....but.....my mom ordered a rum and coke. She didnt like it. So our sever is just sorta standing there not offering any suggestions. 3 of us tried it and it was nasty. My sister suggested to see what the bartender thought. He just said something about the splash of lime. COME ON! We were trying to be polite She didn't like it and you should of remade it. Poor customer service. My wife had the brisket nachos. Nothing but fat. The other 3 people in our party order some different items. I wouldn't recommend anything we tried. So way over priced, questionable service and poor food.....but thats just my...
