It was our first time and my experience was unfortunately terrible.
We waited 20 minutes to even get acknowledged to receive a water. Once we ordered we waited 20 minutes and the waitress came up and asked what we wanted to order…. We said well we already put in our order… she apologized but it was another 40 minutes to get our appetizer. Once we received our order it was cold but we couldn’t tell her because it took roughly 20-30mins for her to check on use.
Additionally I experienced racism at hand towards a customer who was sitting behind me. It very discouraging to come to a place in this day and age where black people are treated differently. This customer sat not waited on at all and I mentioned to the waitress he hadn’t been attended to and she was very defensive saying “yes he has” and walked away when in fact he had not.
I am not one to leave reviews, but unfortunately this was such an upsetting experience that I cannot let go unspoken.
As a white person I did ask this individual if I could speak on their behalf and they did feel subjected to treatment that felt discriminatory and deeply dehumanizing. While other guests were welcomed and served with basic courtesy, they were ignored, spoken to rudely, and made to feel unwelcome from the moment they walked in.
No one should ever be made to feel this way, especially in a public space that claims to serve the community. I left feeling humiliated and heartbroken.

Read moreI would like to dispute the review right before one, as it is entirely false. A gentleman (supposedly) sat at a hidden corner table by the door and “was not even greeted” by a BARBACK. Whose job is to clean tables and reset.
The guest in question walked up to the bar (I was sitting at the very last seat by the service well). He and I had a full conversation and not once mentioned not being greeted, or any discrepancies in service. Odd considering he felt fine telling other patrons that later. I sat and heard and watched him be completely rude and uncompromising to the wait staff while standing right next to me. Cutting them off and not listening to anything they would say. Gina was wonderful at trying to explain to him that the girl he was describing was a barback and even tried to buy him a beer twice. He said “I don’t want any charity” and “I’ve been a server”, but was not understanding of the fact that the ENTIRE restaurant was completely full (Faith did an amazing job btw and killed it all night!). If you have actually worked in this industry you are understanding. And do not act the way this “man” did. The review before this is completely biased as to what one guest stated and not based on fact. They were seated away from the bar and had great service all night. Read moreWe had Taylor's at a party a couple weeks ago and were blown away by the pizza. Excited it was around the corner from our house we gave it a whirl for our weekly Friday night pizza. While annoyed by the 9.5% surcharge for togo on food that already seemed over priced, we wanted to support local and paid it.
The thing that will make us not return is being catfished by their breadsticks. $10.99 for 4 breadsticks is outrageous but we ordered them because we figured they used the dough from the pizza and the website made them look hand rolled. We also bought another sauce for $2 so we are $12.99 into these breadsticks before the surcharge and tax. When I got home I thought there is no way they just gave us 4 frozen breadsticks that they threw some seasoning on. I called in to ask if they ran out of dough and were subbing with frozen breadsticks and the kind server said she was new but no, those indeed were the breadsticks. She said she would write my information down and have a manager call. A week later and the manager never did. They need to update the website to reflect what patrons are getting. I'm disappointed but honestly there are too many good choices around to frequent a place that doesn't show actual pictures of their food and doesn't follow up with a concern from a customer.
