My recent visit to Dave & Buster at the Irvine Spectrum was extremely disappointing due to the poor service from the server Brandi. My friend and I both ordered the all you can eat wings (AYCE) + $10 power card combo for $23.99. At the beginning, I told Brandi that I would use my existing physical Power Card to avoid an additional activation fee. However, she assured me that I would not be charged if I opted for a new card, so I went with it. When we received the check, we noticed a $3 activation fee per person, totaling $6. When I asked Brandi about this, instead of addressing the issue professionally, she raised her voice, saying, “I’m busy.…I’m serving other customers.” I didn’t say anything back to her, but in my head, I was thinking that there’s no need for the yelling. She then called over a black guy (I’m not sure who he is, maybe an assistant manager or a security guard), who argued that the $3 activation fee applies to the bill regardless of whether I bring my own power card or get a new one. This directly contradicted what Brandi had told me earlier. It felt like I was intentionally misled by the server Brandi, and when I caught the discrepancy, Brandi brought in someone else to back her up rather than taking responsibility. Maybe this is the scam/hidden fees that this server Brandi has been pulling and she used the black guy to cover for her. If this happened to me, I wonder how many other customers have been misled in the same way. Moreover, the server Brandi repeatedly got my orders wrong. The first order of wings was correct, with the sauce already mixed in. However, for the subsequent orders, she incorrectly ordered the wings and sauce served separately, which was not what we asked for. Additionally, she mistakenly ordered boneless wings instead of the bone-in wings we had ordered. Despite these errors, we chose not to make a fuss and simply ate what we were given. So not only the server Brandi lied to us about the activation fee for power card and then called a black guy to argue with us, she also purposely made the 2nd and subsequent wing orders wrong. And since she made the orders wrong so many times, maybe she made on the orders wrong on purpose……So be aware when you ordered $23.99 all you can eat wings deal at the DB irvine spectrum. Even though the deal is pretty good, but the server Brandi may intentionally screw everything up as worst as possible to make sure you don’t come back. Did Dave and busters Irvine spectrum location hire their employees from the hood or something? They’re definitely rude and borderline harassment, and then they call another employee to bully customers into paying for unjustified activation fees. Hopefully, Dave busters corporate can look into my story and investigate the Dave and busters location at Irvine spectrum, especially retraining the server Brandi. If they keep letting the server Brandi and the black guy keep scamming customers like this, I don’t think the Dave and busters location at Irvine will last any longer in the future….

We're regulars at Irvine and Orange locations, and this was the worst experience I've ever had at any Dave and Busters! We played a few games and decided to order food. As you can see in the pictures, the place was almost empty, so it's amazing that we would have any problems ordering or getting our food, but we did. After waiting at our table for 10 minutes or so, my husband asked the bartender if we could order from him and he said he'd get someone to help us. So we waited. First the server just ignored us while chatting away with one of the bartenders. When she finally came to our table, she didn't really greet us or say anything about us waiting so long when the whole place was a ghost town and she was far from friendly. We ordered the double pepperoni flatbread and when it came, the pepperoni was dried out and crunchy - in a bad way, like it was put in the microwave too long and kind of petrified. To top it off it was soggy and greasy on the bottom. She never came back to check on us at all, so my husband had to ask the bartender for help again. The manager, Pedro, came to our table and said he would have it remade. The second one was even worse! It looked and tasted charred. I tried a little piece and couldn't get the acrid taste out of my mouth. Pedro came back to see if we got our food. I showed him the flatbread and he didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it. I was stunned, and as a personal chef, offended that they were fine with serving that to customers. Frustrated and not feeling like trying to explain the obvious, I just let it go. My appetite was already ruined (along with my mood). They really didn't seem to care and neither Pedro nor our server came back to our table, but they spent quite a bit of time talking behind a machine (so weird). The amazing thing is how absolutely empty the place was and they couldn't manage to make a decent flatbread or provide excellent customer service that they talk about all over the website. Mediocre at best. I think we'll make the extra drive to Orange from now on.

birthday party: I celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday here. Invited her Girl Scouts friends.I booked a private room. The private room has a minimum consumption $900-$1200. The price of the private room in Irvine is not the official website price, Is higher than the official website price. Picture 1 is the price of the private room in Irvine. When you are a new guest and ask for the first time, there is no minimum consumption in the contract. When you are sure you need it, the minimum consumption will be stated in the room contract. If the consumption does not meet the standard, you will also pay according to the minimum consumption. $100 for the use of the private room and $200 for tips are not included in the minimum consumption. About Game Cards: Because some girls didn't come, each girl used 2 game cards. totaling $70. How long does it take to use up these cards? Only fifty minutes, including the time to redeem the toys. For the remaining 2 hours, I invited an extra magic show for 1 hour and the girls' handicrafts for half an hour. So the girls didn't stop using the private room for 3 hours. It was a perfect arrangement. About Food: I paid an additional $20 per adult with children to purchase the buffet. The buffet is not as delicious as the ordering in the hall, not recommended. The service of the private room waiter was very good and we were very satisfied. I hope this helps you guys if you want to book a private room.

I Think this was probably the best experience that I have had at an arcade. If you want to go to a party, I recommend it. The party I went to even had a comedy show with some of the workers at Dave & Busters. The people there were encouraging us to eat more and more food. I ended up eating a cheeseburger slider, a bunch of fries and chicken nuggets and other delicious food. The prizes there were amazing and were definitely not as much of a scam as other places like John's Incredible Pizza. I was able to get over 5K Tickets from only $35! That is a better deal than John's Incredible Pizza's 1500 Tickets by a whopping $40. The arcade was awesome and when I got thirsty, the place gave me these large glasses of ice water free of charge. The ticket claw machine was surprisingly not a scam unlike many other claw machines. The Big Bass Bonus got me an average of 70 Tickets when means it is not a scam. The arcade had these motorcycle games where you race in many different places around the world. This arcade had a huge variety of games to choose from like Connect 4 Hoops, Yahtzee, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution and much more. There is a table where you can place your leftover cards when you are done which is a win win, just don't leave your tickets on the cards when placing them because people like me may find them. Hungry Hippos was really fun and the only problem was that one of the hippos was not working. Other than that, the day went perfect, using my all day unlimited game card (excluding games where you can win tickets), I went on the Typhoon, a roller coaster simulator, Connect 4 Hoops, Basketball Hoops, Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero. It was a great day and I ended by going to the prizes. From my past experiences of going to the arcade prizes, I would wait in a 2 minute line to find out that the thing you want costed 23 more tickets. At this arcade, you can browse for 5 straight minutes and you only wait in line when checking out the prizes or moving the ticket rings from the ticket claw machine to your card. Because of this, the line is really short and you can check your balance in front of the prizes.

this was an awesome place to hang out with my friends and family and it was a place that I want...

I was laying home sick for several days and finally got better couple of days ago . We decided to go enjoy our favorite place with whole family to Dave & Buster’s . We always spend good amount of money here and never regret till this day after having a rude and disrespectful conversation with a David Area Operation Manager. I forgot my id in a car and my wife was trying to get alcohol drinks but unfortunately we got rejected because I don’t have one. We had a long conversation with Manager name David why my way can’t get a drink but David said that he is a Boss here and I need to run to my car right now and bring him my ID if I want to get a drink. I did that. David made me to run to a car and then suddenly when I came back with my id David said it’s to late for me :( and I’m not going to get a drink :) so he made me to run to my car .. bring my id to show that he is a real boss here how he said . And final action was to reject my alcohol order to enjoy his power over a costumer . I think this action shows that working staff here is low trained to work in a service industry and deal with a conflict situation. Area operation Manager Davin was driven by his EGO to over use his authority to get satisfaction and feeling of control and power. That’s not good Management skills and I bet stuff who works here have notes that I just described before a lot of. David moved this situation personal for no reason. Also he prohibited bartenders from selling drinks to my wife my wife with who he even haven’t had a chance to talk saying that she will share her drink with me :) at this point David showing magical skills of predicting the future and also using his power in a way that not pleasant to clients. My wife felt humiliated and we think Mr Big Boss David actions is a scream of help inside his soul because he don’t like his job but likes his Position in a building. We fell sorry for David. Thank you guys we love Dave&Buster and recommend coming here! But my own experience suggests you to train or pay more your workers so they are not that mad at their work leaving their EGO at home. And learn how to handle clients in a different situations providing high client satisfaction rate!...
